My friend wore shorts on top of her one-piece when we went swimming in the pool last summer. I could not even begin to thank her for the consideration she showed by wearing a pair of shorts over her swimsuit. It was the greatest things she could do to help me keep my mind out of where it shouldn't have been.
Girls, I know it can be hard to find swimsuits that are halfway modest, but do try for us guys! Please....
It is never okay to show cleavage, except to your husband.
Bare shoulders, back and thighs are all a problem, whether on the beach or off.

[about tank tops] Shows too much skin around the neck and the arms. They are generally too tight and are distracting in that area. Or they are too loose and the arms gape open and reveal too much there.
[about v-necks] Personally, I would agree with this one. There's very little left to the imagination, and even though this type of shirt may not show cleavage, the intersection point of the v-neck leads your eyes downward to the bust area.
[statement: Lace-edge camisoles sticking out of the top of shirts look too much like underwear.] They look like a girl is protecting guys by placing something there to protect herself.
[statement: Seeing a girl take off a pullover (i.e. a shirt that must be pulled over the head) is a stumbling block, even if she is wearing a modest shirt underneath.] If you need to take it off, go to the bathroom. Your shirt under it may lift up in the process.
Mid-calf for skirts and pants (e.g. capris) is my personal preference, but I'd really prefer not to see your knees when you're standing.
Just a bit above the knee is okay, nothing higher.
If I can see thigh it's a problem.

Girls: Please don't bend over towards us, or away from us. Please kneel down, or modestly crouch if you need to reach something. Bending reveals an attitude of carelessness and hastiness. A girl who makes the effort to kneel to attend to something draws good attention to herself because it shows her careful, and sincere attention to what she is doing.
From my perspective, heavy eye makeup generally makes girls look like prostitutes and those sort of people.
It is common knowledge that when a girl plays with her hair while talking to a guy, it is a sign of her having feelings for him.
Don't make your legs look longer than they are - they entice us enough as is.
Keep persevering! Your efforts are appreciated and noticed, even though you may not be able to see that. It serves us guys tremendously, not only in not being tempted each time we look at you, but also knowing that you care and that your heart attitude is to serve. Thank you for guarding the guys!
For those of you trying to be modest, thank you, thank you, thank you! I certainly notice it and am grateful for it. For those of you who aren't sure about modesty, it is hard enough for us guys as it is; please don't make it harder.
And two, listen to a guy if he tells you what is modest and what is not. Once again, his opinion may be completely different, but he's right when it comes to modesty. He's the one immodest clothing affects.
