Jack’s room was just across the hall. Stepping into his own, Ryan could hear Jack laughing, carrying on a loud conversation far later than the hotel’s guests would be willing to tolerate.

“Jack, you have to keep it down, I can hear you through the walls.” He stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click.

“Sorry-“ With effort, Jack lowered his voice. “-Sorry, didn’t realize.” His face was still flushed with adrenaline from the show.

“I know, it takes time to come down from everything.”

“Yeah.” Jack grabbed a half-drank bottle of water from the desk beside him. “I’m not even tired yet.”

Ryan stepped forward swiftly, snatching it from his hand. “Sit.”

Jack’s hand hovered in front of him as he processed the motion and the command. His arm dropped, and he sat at the edge of the bed, a grin forming on his reddish lips. “What’s up with you tonight?” He questioned, his tone unmistakably flirtatious. “Can’t believe you pulled this shit in front of a stadium of fans.”

“I don’t know what you mean.” Ryan stood over him, struggling to keep a straight face as he twisted the cap off and tipped the bottle to Jack’s lips. “I’m just trying to help my little brother.”

None of this should have been so gratifying- the eagerness of Jack’s swallows, the way his lips wrapped around the plastic and his adam’s apple bobbed as he drank. Ryan couldn’t help himself from getting aroused again, though.
