Despite all the heavy thoughts weighing on me, I still wanted to make something to celebrate Pride Month. A little last second, but it's my heartfelt tribute to bisexuality and my resident bi icon, Maleane 🩷💜💙

Throughout her life, Mal had plenty of lovers, but she never loved anyone as much as these three: Astarion, Halsin, and Laureen.

Nothing compares to the first love, and so, Astarion holds a special place in her heart. After all, they spent nearly a century traveling the world together after defeating the Absolute, learning how to trust each other and navigating their own fears and trauma. They led a tumultuous relationship spanning decades, hurting each other in the process, and yet still yearning for one another.

Halsin carved a place in her heart many years after they'd first met. Despite confessing his feelings to the drow during the Absolute crisis, the druid only got to taste her sweetness a century later, when Maleane showed up in Reithwin, heartbroken, sick, and pregnant. The two found comfort in each other, and fostered a deep, emotional connection as they raised Mal's daughter, Thoriel, together.
