basically my idea is that it was revealed off screen but since at least pvc already knew about the witches eating cookies (revealed by Dec) and all that, he didn't show much of an outward reaction, maybe some worry but seeing as the trio are still alive and (seemingly) well, nothing much more

and because of this nonchalance to something that the trio had burdened themselves with hiding for so long, gingerbrave (maybe the other two as well) began questioning if what they went through really was that bad (especially in comparison to what the ancients dealt with and all that) (spoiler alert, IT WAS THAT BAD.)

and since the three ('specially gingerbrave) are probably REAL repressed, this probably just made them repress even FURTHER which is why they talk so lax about it because "if its fine by the ancients, then surely we're fine!" even when it caused deep trauma within them (I'm coping)

He feels LOBOTOMIZED during Beast Yeast because all that kindness and compassion for everyone just got him to threaten a child character (Pompom Dough Cookie you will be missed) JUST BECAUSE she/they work for Dark Enchantress Cookie AGAINST HER WILL, who CLEARLY is in PAIN.

Allat kindness feels as if it was reserved for Fraud Milk Cookie who wants understanding NOT friendship.

Let’s not forget how Crème Republic basically invaded the seaside and ruin the local Cookie’s lives, having most elders be somehow vanilla-related, BECAUSE of differences in beliefs. And what happened? THE ELDER IN CHARGE OF THE RELIGION WHO CARES FOR ORPHANS IS PART OF A WITCH WORKSHIPPING CULT.

Witches clearly have a lot to do with vanillan culture in general, especially when they are referred as the “light” which blesses cookies as paladins (this one is implied).

OH WOW THE KING OF THE VANILLA KINGDOM SURELY WORKSHIPS THEM AS WELL with a prayer for his damn CORONATION.

SURELY WHEN YOU ARE TOLD THE GODS YOU WORKSHIP CREATED YOUR KIND AS TREATS YOU WOULD HAVE AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS RIGHT?

I doubt that he knows about it either, I’m mostly referencing to the final battle where Pure Vanilla Cookie did not give the desired answer to Dark Enchantress Cookie’s question about their origin.

The most we get from his connection to witches is that the vanillan is grateful to be born sweet and crispy, and that Cookies should live in peace and harmony.

Or that the vanillan version of religion skipped that part, since the St. Pastry Order does mention being food to Witches.

But the Crème Republic’s workship Witches in the form of a light, with no sign of relinquishing oneself to it. The blessed Cookies (eventually trained as paladins) are meant to protect, which is why Madeleine Cookie and Financier Cookie are both defenders.

And since they are descendants of vanillans, unlike St. Pastry Order’s Cookies, I mostly based my argument around their religion instead.

If you are referring to Pure Vanilla Cookie having an individual wish to be eaten, it still doesn’t explain how he knows Cookies are nourishment for Witches. The vanillan religion doesn’t revolve around unity and be consumed, it revolves around figures of divinity, about how Witches are superior and workshipped.

On 8 world chapters, >5 days of odyssey and 7 episodes where he appears in Beast Yeast, not once has he spoken about knowing Witches eat his kind as treats. But he suddenly knows about it? Who even told him 😭

If he knew pre Dark Flour War, the only logical explanation was High Forkbearer Cookie mentioning this to him.

They were an important figure of St. Pastry Order, yes, and also met (or implied to meet) Pure Vanilla Cookie. But at that point they didn’t fall into the rift yet that brought Avatar Of Destiny and become Doughael yet.

We finally got info on Oven Wanderer Cookie and Gingercraven and oh lord I am CONCERNED!!! GINGERBRAVE WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU…

So Oven Wanderer has no recollection of his past meaning we don’t know what went on in the Oven Labyrinth.

Then there’s Gingercraven. *ahem* DICTATOR??? HATES ALL GINGERBRAVES?? BUT NOT AS MUCH AS HE HATES HIMSELF?? WHAT HAPPENED IN YOUR WORLD…

Dude just imagine if brave and melan shared the same oven, or atleast brave while in the witches house somehow found the oven that is seal ("isint that far away?" Shhhhhh) with melan in it and found her baby self. Brave feels like he could get maternal instinct while melan found a new person to play with. Anywho yayyyy family thing!!
