Her stomach flips and her fingers twitch at Nancy’s words. This girl that she had pegged as a priss back in high school stood before her with such bold words.

“Uh, wow–” There was no bite in Robin’s usual snarky tone, only surprise. Fingers rake into her messy hair as Nancy’s words sink in, replaying in her mind.

Her lips parted ever so gently, timid. Nancy is warm against her and there's a sweet smell wafting from her soft hair.

Heavy lids open slowly, blinking with surprised delight. "Yeah, no, I'm good." A small smile tugged on her lips. "Just... you know, didn't see this coming. That's all."

“Hey, sweetie. Feelin’ okay?” Rick curled an arm around Robin’s shoulders, squeezing gently.

“It’s alright, it won’t hurt.” 

“Tell me if it hurts.”

“Please, be gentle.” 

“I promise I’ll be gentle.” 

“It’s my first time.” 

“Have you ever done that before?” 

“I have never done that before.” 

“Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you.”

“Are you a virgin?”

“Please, wait, I’m a virgin.” 

“I want to be your first.” 

“Ohh look Robin and Gracie are under mistletoe look at them.”  The voice is mocking as everyone ooh’s and ahh’s between laughs. 

They’re all teasing but what they don’t know is how much Gracie wants to really kiss Robin. Instead, she kisses Robin on the cheek a chaste little peck. “Okay shows over now I want some of that punch they made, want to grab some?” She asks Robin grabbing her hand and heading with her to the kitchen so they can avoid any more stares. Once everyone is focused back to the music playing Gracie squeezes Robin’s hand and gives her a look. An, I’m sorry I wish I could kiss you sort of look before she gets cups for punch.

It was the laughing she couldn't stand, what bothered her the most- and while she knew, deep down, that it probably wasn't malicious- it still managed to irk her.
