The true problem with being an artist and drawing all day (as I wanted my whole life) is that human backs are not designed to hold that position, so it is very common for artists and designers to have really stiff shoulder blades, creating a chain of muscle strain towards the arm AND the back… and a lot of pain.

These are some physical exercises for artists and honestly anyone who works at a desk.

Happy New Year everyone! Happy 2024, or 202FOUR, the perfect year to relaunch my webcomic! I've been working hard all year to get ready for this.

https://operationfour.thecomicseries.com/ The new home of the comic is on a shiny new page on comic fury and will update Mondays for now.

Its a new version of the story that I'm very happy with. The original run of the comic began in my first year of college, five years ago, when I was clinically depressed but extremely determined to start this comic anyway. As such I didn't really have a very strong plan of where I was going with it and very quickly wrote myself into a corner. My update schedule was sparse to nonexistent and it felt like a massive battle to do even a single page. A few years later I got diagnosed with ADHD (and discovered I have hypermobile wrists and shoulders so that's why my old methods hurt double too) and have spent the last year especially overhauling my life to be more accommodating and to re learn how to work on anything in a way that won't destroy me mentally or physically.

SO long story short in all that time the story grew into a different stronger and much more exciting version of itself and Suciedad City is ready for its new, hopefully permanent debut this time. Thank you everone who's followed me for being so patient and I hope you enjoy what I have in store.

Well, I was going to do Journey June, but their rules are 1) no finished art and 2) no using characters you already made and gave backstories, and I realized I wanted to do both of those. So I’m doing something else. Also probably won’t update as often as every day, I am going to wait to try to figure out an update schedule until I find out whether this project sinks or swims.
