Quick on the Draw

"Oh I never said I was an idiot." He purred, moving in a little closer. "I said I was dangerous."

"And I was implying that you'd be an idiot to try anything, Mr. Dangerous. That act may work on sorority girls looking to get a taste of bad boys, but I'd be more inclined to shoot you. So, safe to say I'm not interested... Get the picture?"

"Well...there you have it." Will said to the loitering group. "The lady doth speak."

"Ha-ha," Gianna replied a bit dryly before flashing Will a small smile. "Sorry to take you away from your entourage, but I do actually need to talk to you. In a more official capacity."

"Oh good...." Jay muttered not even looking up from his computer.

"You, Halstead, are a real stick in the mud." She moved to sit on the edge of his desk. "I know you hate being on a joint task force for things like this, but I am genuinely here to help you all. The Bane party is likely the beginning of a lead, not the end of it."

"Good cause I'm not and I'd hate you do be wrong,"

"I'm never wrong," Gianna pointed out, gently hitting Owayne against the chest from where she was sitting. "Couldn't get very far in my line of work if I was."

"Why do I find that hard to believe," she joked

"Because you're my favorite older sister, and you know me too well," Gianna replied swiftly. "But honestly, I don't think that of you. Just... most other people I encounter on a day to day basis."

"Shifters? I love shifters. They are crunchy and taste good with ketchup."

"Cute. I'm sure all women love to be compared to a piece of chicken or something."

"I do recall that I came for a purpose. But now that we're here...have a drink with me?"

Gianna laughed a bit. “I didn’t think you all took too kindly to shifters… at least in the general sense. But sure, knock yourself out.”

“Woo, good morning,” he said coming out of his bathroom back into his room. Realising he had company just in time not to take his towel off.

“Careful there, Casanova, I think that’d be more than you want me to see… Unless there’s some sort of unspoken rule at play that if you throw down I have to too, in which case I’ll even the playing field,” Gianna teased, before nodding to the mug she’d set aside for him on his bedside table. “I was only bringing you that. Free of charge.”
