finished another book, so I am here to give you all my review since I hate how goodreads makes your reviews obnoxiously present to your friends. I like my opinions quiet and aimed at ears willing to listen, so I am here.

i finished reading Purrder She Wrote, the second in cate conte’s cat cafe series. This book was what I had expected the first book to be. The actual cat cafe was a lot more present, a staple HQ. I really liked the characters and continuation of storylines spreading through, though some of the continuing characters are starting to annoy. The common denominator between these annoying characters is that they are men. Additionally, men who are trying to flirt. Annoying.

At one point, the day I read the majority of the book, I was reading in bed on my Saturday with a common cold. I was sick, I was off work, my responsibilities were nonexistent for the day, yet our lovely mc Maddy sure had me STRESSED. That girl could not learn how to say no to things, and her full plate schedule made me feel the dread of forgetting urgent responsibilities. Ay ay ay. Anyways, I liked this book a lot. 3.5 stars
