If I want to age dream, but have never done it before, what should I do? Acting like a child sounds like it would really help with my stress from school but I don’t know where to start. What kind of things would be easy for me to lean myself into this?
oooh i completely understand!! here’s a few ideas to help lean into the age dreaming headspace:
- coloring in a kids coloring book
- playing childish/cute themed games
- dress up in bright colors, cute clothes, or cute comfy pjs
- collect stuffed animals and name them! come up with stories about them too!
- if you’re able, using physical items like a sippy cup for juice, a kids backpack to carry around items, etc would help a lot too
- take a bubble bath and use fun bath products (bath bombs, bath crayons, water color changing tabs)
- watch kids movies or shows/cartoons
- go outside and explore! try to catch some bugs, take pictures of things you find pretty, play an outside game
- hula hoop!!! or jump rope!!
- play tag with a friend or a pet (playing with my pets always makes me feel tiny hehe, i love chasing them around and them chasing me)
- listen to nostalgic songs
- browse age dreaming, age regression content! or particular aesthetics like kidcore and babycore to help set a mood
