I've never made and introduction post, so please excuse my awkwardness. I'm Franki [They/Them], but many people also call me Moon! Nice to meet you ♡ This blog will be almost exclusively dedicated to BRCU and Helluva Boss.

I have fallen back into my BRCU and Helluva Boss fixation, and have the urge to post a million things but I don't want to spam my main, so here we are! There will be tons of reblogs of fanart and such, but I will also be starting with some posts analyzing and theorizing about Helluva Boss soon! And maybe post some of my own art

Okay y'all I'm so confused- I know that all the people from the circus have this symbol, but I was noticing how Blitzø's is different. Fizzarolli has the simple heart shape, and even Barbie does too, but Blitzø has little horns almost above his. And originally I thought that he just got them tattooed there when he was older, to disconnect himself from the circus. However I realized that he had them since he was younger, so I really do wonder why his is different? It can't be a genetically male thing, because Fizz doesn't have it. Blitzø's dad had little horns too, so it could possibly show that he's the ringmaster's child, and when Barbie was younger I saw she had little horns too. However I am led to believe that it changes when you grow, because Barbie doesn't have the horns there anymore, and there is no way her X could cover them because it's too small to do so. The symbols also used to have little spaces in the middle for Fizz, Blitzø, and Barbie, but now that they are older they don't anymore. There is just a lot of inconsistencies with the symbol, so I'm just really confused haha. Anyway please share your thoughts about this!

Im so happy I'm not the only one whose been driven a little crazy over this. It gets worse though

So in The Circus we see both Blitzo and Cash have the horn on theirs. As well as Barbie in the family portrait.

But then in the flashbacks from Oops, and the photos on Blitzøs phone in Ozzie's there is no horns. But hey, those could all be before what we see in The Circus, so the idea that they got added later still lines up

EXCEPT IT DOESN'T!

In the other flashbacks from Oops, Blitzo and Cash don't have the horns on theirs. Same with the flashback from Mammons. (and in the flashback/hallucination shot we got in the trailer of teen Blitzo)

So with Blitzø, Barbie, and Cash the horns just come and go as the please apparently. But for some of the flashbacks it could all just be possible errors. What do the horns actually indicate? It being to indicate that they are the ringmaster and his children is the best theory as they are the only ones we've seen with the horns, right?

.....well shit.

All in all I think it mostly comes down to simplifying the symbol in some instances, and in others just forgetting about the horns. I'm not sure how important they are. We should also take into account the out of universe development of the symbol. In Blitzø's beta design it was just a heart with horns, and llater was made more complex. Knowing how much Viv loves to put hearts in her art, it was probably just a detail with no lore reason at first, but then later given a story reason.

All in all, as much as it pains me to say: I don't think its that deep and that the symbol just varies due to the nature of art and animation. We still aren't 100% sure what it even is either. Is it a tattoo? Some sort of magical brand? Something else entity?? Theres no canon answer, and we may never get one.
