#Mizutani not Mitzutani #can't find exact photos but seems to be #from his series KAWAU (川鵜 or great cormorant) or HANON (半音 or semitone/half-tone)#(titles are in roman letters)#latter is the name for the photobook #interesting since first article when looking it up drew parallels to music sheets with how the cormorants sit on those powerlines #his “second series inspired by explosive population growth of birds in cities including Tokyo”#from artist statement so look it up if interested #very impressive and looming indeed #reminded of seeing something like this once just masses and masses of these prehistoric looking birds #cormorants are so good #fittich
