the source for my hc is the same as most of my trans hcs:

- i am transgender

- i like him

however!

i feel michael j fox is the most transgender cis man. short, higher voice, softer features. vaguely resembles me if u really squint (i’m insane). like alright. lets get this boy transgendering.

theres a few reasons why marty isnt very popular in school and he’s insecure and i think being trans could very easily be one of them. realistically being trans in the 80s means he’s probably stealth. so i doubt his peers know about it. but that fear of getting found out is going to be affecting the way he interacts with others.

i would also say that my trans marty hc is probably more of a playing with dolls hc than how i view the canon. but its a lot of fun. if he IS trans then that of course affects his kids. the options i see possible there:

- him and jenn are t4t. either marty had the kids or they got a surrogate

- jenn’s cis, they got a sperm donor (and probably used marty’s eggs, or maybe marty’s for marlene and jenn’s for marty jr, since thats who they each resemble)

- adopted. they just look like that. nature vs nurture
