Learn from the Equities Process. National Cyber Security Centre recently published the UK’s process, called the Equities Process, for how they handle vulnerabilities that are found in various bits of technology.

Den 16 maj 2018 antog riksdagen en ny säkerhetsskyddslag som träder i kraft den 1 april 2019. Kompletteringar har lämnats som i stort bygger på de förslag som lämnades i betänkandet En ny säkerhetsskyddslag, SOU 2015:25.

Anmälningsplikt inom energisektorn. Från den 1 november 2018 har vissa leverantörer av samhällsviktiga tjänster inom energisektorn en skyldighet att anmäla sig till Energimyndigheten. Samtliga leverantörer ska själva undersöka om de berörs av NIS-regleringen eller inte.

ETSI just released a new report on Quantum-Safe Virtual Private Networks. The report explores protocol requirements necessary to add quantum resistance to VPN technologies, including client, server and architectural considerations.

Sju myndigheter har fått uppdraget att samarbeta för att ta fram handlingsplan mot cyberattacker. Regeringen har valt ut sju myndigheter att gemensamt ta fram en handlingsplan för Sveriges informations- och cybersäkerhet som ska omfatta åren 2019–2022.

"Ansvaret för riskanalysen inom NIS ska ligga hos organisationerna", menar MSB. Åke Holmgren, chef för Avdelningen för cybersäkerhet och skydd av samhällsviktig verksamhet på MSB, menar att varje organisation känner sin egen information bäst och därför bör riskanalyserna göras av organisationerna själva.
