My face.

I always pause when I try to introduce her.. She passed away a couple years ago, and I swear that life will never be the same. It's still a touchy subject. She's my guide through life now. When the wind blows through the trees, I know it's her voice, telling me it's going to be alright. Signs. They're always everywhere from her. She believed in an afterlife. And I do too. Makes the whole grieving process a little easier. 

This is my mother, and without her, I don't know where I would be. I've let her down a lot in my life, but all I can do now is change my path and walk down it. We both drink gallons of milk, and have the same birth mark in the same place on the same foot. Pretty crazy. 

I used to do some heavy drugs. I'm 11 months clean and sober on the 5. My clean date is July 5th, 2012. I came crawling to my mothers doorstep withdrawling on the 4th, she took me to rehab on the 5th. It was and still is the greatest thing to of ever happened to me. I should be on a metal slab right now. 

My girlfriend is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I was a broken soul, and when we met, it's like the light inside me that had been dimmed for so long finally brightened. She's is #5 of 10 siblings, and I love every single one of them. Her eyes? They make me melt. I'm in love. 

My name is Elizabeth Yglesias. Most call me Izzy. The thing I wish to achieve through this page, and also the page I have on Facebook, is to start an uprising. I'm tired of watching our future go down in flames. Let's do something about this. And let's speak up. Open our mouths. Have a voice.
