I've set myself a challenge to sample and review on video a different whisky (Scotch, Bourbon, etc) every day from Burns Night 2016 to Burns Night 2017 - hence the title 'A Dram A Day' - all in an effort to raise money for The Children's Heart Surgery Fund. . Think of it as a 'sponsorship' - a sponsoring of just 10p per dram is only £36.60 for the year, but even more would be better!. . THE RULES: Sample a 2.5cl measure (1 unit of alcohol) only. Sample in a Glencairn whisky glass whenever possible. NO ICE whatsoever. No water, unless the whisky is cask strength or more than 50% ABV and only add water after it has been sampled neat. Sample only the 'core' product from individual distilleries or brands. Review each sample on video and upload to the 'A Dram A Day' YouTube channel and this blog. No more than 4 samples in one day. No more than 10 samples to be reviewed in one week.
