“You should know not to go to parties, or anywhere really, alone. Especially if you don’t know the area or people.” Ji-Ho let out a sigh. “The world isn’t exactly safe for women…unfortunately.” That was the harsh reality and it was something he had always hated. He had always taken it upon himself to watch over his friends when they went out to make sure they were safe. After that incident with those photos of Addison that went around school, he wanted to make sure nothing like that ever happened again to anyone he cared about.
He lifted her left foot to examine the blister, trying to determine if ointment was needed or if a bandaid would suffice for now. When she asked if she could stay with him tonight he raised a brow. She must have been scared with everything that had happened, he couldn’t just tell her no but he also didn’t want to cross any line with her. He stayed knelt in front of her as he thought, his elbow on his leg and his head in his hand.
“Of course. Evie isn’t here yet. You can use her bed if you’d like.” He finally said, standing up and moving to put the first aid kit away. “It’d probably feel nice sleeping in a queen bed instead of those bunk beds anyways.” G laughed softly.
Addison knew that G was right and had a fair point, but she wasn’t thinking of that when she decided to go; however, she would be from now on. She hated the fact that the world wasn’t safe for women, and she should have known better than to go to a strange place full of strangers without someone she knew tagging along with her. “I know, and I’m sorry for doing that. I’ll go with someone I know next time or I won’t go at all,” the female replied as her brown hues peered over at him. Addison was starting to not like the party scene as it seemed something always happened when she attended, and she wasn’t a fan of it.
She watched as he examined her left foot that contained the blister and awaited his reply to her question. The dark haired female knew that it was abrupt to ask him if she could spend the night in his room, but she didn’t want to be alone at the moment. Addison was afraid that he would turn her down, kindly of course, but she was taken aback when he somewhat agreed with the mention of using Evie’s bed.
A little part of her was hoping to share his bed, but she also didn’t want to push any boundaries or make him feel uncomfortable so she was more than happy to sleep in the spare bed instead. “Thank you, I appreciate it. I need to get out of this dress first,” she stated as she glanced down at the material that clung to her body and immediately noticed a bruise on her arm starting to settle upon her skin where the drunken male from the party had roughly pulled her back into him. “I’m kind of looking forward to it. Those bunk beds aren’t the most comfortable things in the world,” the femme joined him in soft laughter before standing up from the toilet and wobbling slightly as she wanted to forget what had taken place. “Do you mind walking with me to my room so that I can grab some pajamas?” Addison questioned as she peered up at him. She figured that she sounded ridiculous for constantly needing to be around him, but she was still a little shaken up and didn’t want to be left alone; plus, she was still a bit drunk from the alcohol and didn’t want to fall into something and injure herself.
