This policy is pretty concerning obviously, but I wasn’t able to find a source for the exact claim for the scrolling ban (even looking up the exact quote in the screenshot); the closest I could find was this excerpt in a Time article that says it’s being considered without further detail.

Also important to note that if these regulations go through Parliament (not familiar with uk politics so I’m not sure how much of a sure bet that is) they still won’t be implemented until 2027.
