#Baddeck in be summer time is a great place. You can go sailing on the schooner, the Amoeba, eat at the Highwheeler and explore the Alexander Graham Bell museum all in one day!

Spring is sooo close up here, you can almost taste it. The winter will eventually loosen its icy grip and birds will start their migration back to the north. The real perk to spring and summer is the arrival of loons back to the NWT. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a real affinity for every species of loon up here!! #wildlifeweek #canada #wildlife

It's National #wildlifeweek here in Canada and to celebrate I'll be posting some of my favourite images of my Canadian wildlife that I've been fortunate enough to capture over my years as a nature photographer! @cwf_fcf My first image is of a caribou photographed on the tundra in the #NorthwestTerritories in the autumn. This bull was travelling with a younger male before it met up with a larger group of around 20 caribou. I had to crawl for a while to get into range for my 800mm to do its work.

Here's what I got to see the other night. The Aurora really did put on a pretty show.

Not a bad place to live eh? Can you imagine looking out your bedroom window and watching this all night?
