Out and About || Adam & Ayden
Ayden stops at a light and sighs. “I miss the states but I’m happy to be back home. I’ve been so used to walking and biking everywhere, I almost forgot how to drive. Let alone, drive here in London where the roads are reversed from the ones overseas.” He was tapping his foot to the music playing in the background. The light changes and Ayden begins to make the third turn. “It’s like I had to learn how to drive all over again” he continued. “I visited New York when I was younger. I could’ve moved there because my agency has an office there too, but decided on London since the main office is here and I was born here” he explained. Ayden made the final turn into the grocery store parking lot. “Well, we are here, mate. See? Not too far from the Heights. Do you think you can remember how to get here? If not, I can show you the turns again.” He told the other as he turned off the car and unfastened his seatbelt.
Adam looks up at the fantastic buildings, both old and new touches, "Yeah London is pretty fantastic, I don't see why you'd want to leave" He murmured, though he said a lot of the same about New York. "To be honest, I wouldn't be very good driving in either place, I got my license, but just barely. I never really drive, so I'm probably really terrible by now too" Adam laughed, remembering how reluctant the tester had been to hand over his license when he'd gone to take the the test. "London was definitely a good choice, though I will say the city I grew up in is also fantastic" He said softly, thinking about the tall buildings and noises that he missed. Adam looked up when Ayden said they were here, memorizing what the outside looked like so he could at least know he was in the right place if he got here. "I think I can remember, it's not that far" Adam said, reaching to unfasten his seat belt as well and get out of the car.
