First run through...
Originally our director had planned for us to perform Scenes 1,5, and 8. after today we are only doing one scene, scene 8. We had our first blocking/read through today and realized all 3 scenes would take about 20 minutes to complete and given that we only are allowed 7 minutes we can only do one scene. Scene 8 seems to be the most exciting so we are going with that. I wish we were able to do more, this is actually tuning out to be pretty fun!

So Far...
We have had a relatively smooth process at the Olympic theater group. We are preparing to rehearse for water by the spoonful. I think it will be a success, our director Fitzwater has a lot of experience in leadership. She has great communication skills that really come in handy when she gives us projects to accomplish. Stage manager Samantha is really on her game, taking notes about every detail we need. I'm looking forward to the rest of the process and working with the other actors in our group!
We have had 3 meetings so far. Two of them were in class and one was outside of class. At this point Fitzwater is trying to make sure everyone knows what they need to do and are also doing it.
