I am still so confused as to how the writers wanted is to feel about Dawn. Is she supposed to be good? Bad? I don’t know.
Because one minute she hitting Beth. Next, she’s giving Beth food. Then she’s telling Beth she’s weak. Then she’s smiling at Beth asking if she’s okay. Then she’s beating Beth. Then she’s trusting Beth with the key to the medicine cabinet so that she can save Carol, even telling Beth that she’s strong. Fast forward to “Coda,” she’s offering Beth a drink and opening up to her. But then boom, during the hostage negotiation she suddenly demands Noah.
Dawn is one character that I do not understand. I don’t know whether she’s supposed to be a good person who has made mistakes, or if she’s supposed to be the villain who occasionally does good.
