Eren x Reader (Modern Au)
Hello!đ As you can see Iâm a really big fan of writing modern Au for Attack on Titan. This is another prologue to a book I am writing as well, Itâs more of a high school story about the reader and Eren falling in love. Though I have a really deep subplot that would be occurring throughout the story, which is directly related to the readerâs life. I really enjoy writing for this story, so I hope you guys like!đ
âHave you found anything more about it?â
âNo nothing⌠It seems that most of the information is confidential.â
âUnbelievable! Itâs been almost three years and still nothing! Not even a name..â
âWell we know that they were there, thereâs no doubt about that.â
âHmm⌠Yes, the ones soaked in crimson blood.â
~Readerâs point of view~
My simple breaths kept me steady, it was hard not to breakdown. Even to this day, it affected me⌠yet I couldnât even remember anything. From the age of fourteen my past is but a blur, I felt like a story with no beginning. My past was no longer apart of me, and neither was my family. My life story was lost, only for me to be given little details. Like the fact my parents left this world due to a car crash, yet that seemed far from the truth. All of their stories of me contained holes, actually I should say gaps. Nothing made sense yet I never questioned them.
How could I? This family that I apparently knew took me in, it was probably the best gift Iâve ever received. To this day these thoughts followed me, never leaving my side. They stuck to me like glue, and I could never seem to push through them. Without this family; actually my family, I wouldnât have been able to get through anything. They were everything you could ever want, my new home was something from a dream.
Even now, my orbs rested on their two figures. My brother and my sister, they kept me happy. They both were overbearing with their protection, well mostly my brother Levi. He came across as blunt and rude but, if youâre actually able to get close with him, you could witness his soft side. Though touch his cleaning supplies, and you are definitely asking for a death wish. Then there was Mikasa, she was very much alike but, her friendly side appeared more often. She was always up for hanging out with friends, probably explains why she had more. These are the people Iâve spent the last three years of my life with. It hasnât been easy, but without them, it would have been impossible.
As these thoughts poured onto the lined page, from a simple pen. I was suddenly put into a state of shock, from the unexpected touch on my shoulder. Jumping a little in my seat, I accidentally drew a huge line across my paper. After realizing what happened my head sharply looked back, and my eyes glared at the culprit. His hands were up in the air and he backed up a little, My eyes continued to stare at him. Sighing I turned back and mumbled.
âWhatcha need?â His footsteps approached my desk, and Levi stated.
âJust wondering what youâre up to.â Smiling a little I lifted my head to look at him.
âIâm finishing my essay for English,â I responded. Nodding his head, he took a seat on my bed. His eyes flickered to the paper before returning to me.
âIâll read it when youâre done, you probably have stupid mistakes anyways,â he murmured.
âWell Thanks,â I rolled my eyes. Though I was actually happy, Levi was just looking out for me. It was silent for a moment, well until Mikasa swung the door open and asked.
âWhat does Levi get to read that I donât?â
Chuckling I responded, âmy essay but there is no way that you would want to read it, you hate English.â Mikasa instantly stopped her movements towards us. Then spun around on her heels, and immediately walked out the room. I couldnât help but burst out laughing, I could even hear Leviâs chuckling. As my laughter began to die down, my ears caught onto Leviâs words.
âMikasa itâs C.o.D night, get your ass downstairs. We have to beat (Y/N) tonight!â Levi yelled.
Glaring at him I retorted, âoh, there is no way thatâs happening!â Getting out of my desk, I sprinted towards the door. Levi was already ahead of me out of the room. I took a sharp right and rushed down the stairs.
Scurrying through the kitchen I heard someone sigh and say, âis it C.o.D night again?â
Laughing a little, I continued running well I responded, âyes but I swear we will try to be quiet, this time.â As I reached the second staircase, I flew down them. When I finally made it to our couch, a controller was thrown at my face. Just barely catching it, I threw myself onto the seat. We all fetched up the money we had on us and threw it onto the table. Mikasa began to pick the stage, all of us knew it was going to be a late night. Though we all had the same thought running through our minds, school was going to be rough tomorrow.
