but when you draw the mice which version of them do you have in your mind? do you draw them as their reboot selves or as the spin off (dynamic and style wise) also I love your art sm

idk if this makes sense but i tend to think of their facial expressions from the reboot but their bodies from the og series lol all in all I feel like my style def leans more reboot though, I really like how Genevieve Tsai stylized brain's face in particular and of course i'm in love with their fangs haha

so yeah it's a mix of both, i think? i do prefer toning down the sharp jagged lines of the reboot (sans brain's tail) by tossing some of the roundness from the og series in there.. along with the more mousy anatomy they have in that style. i like brain's stubbier legs and their rounded paws. the little tufts of fur i put under their ears is a personal stylistic thing lmao i like to think it's a remnant of my sparkle dog drawing phase from when i was a kid lol i would always give them really fluffy ears and now it just automatically comes out whenever i'm drawing the mice haha

i like how that one stylized pic i did of them a couple years ago turned out so i wanted to do another one plus some of the other cast yippee

personally I visualize the most punchable face I can think of and channel all of my rage and disgust into my drawing hand and just let it do its thing but that’s just me

questionable priorities 😑
