I really liked that Dandy was very closely associated with Clair de Lune, as well as the idea that piano music calms them down, so I decided that they should play piano and be the one responsible for the theme of Reclaim itself.

Reclaim: Twisted Dreams!

Once the blog gains enough traction, I plan to be seperating the tags for Reclaim from the source material to make it easier to find (I could end up changing my mind on this, however.)

This blog's posts will consist of artwork, writing, and overall conceptualisation for how I would personally write Dandy's World. It is open to asks, including asks directing toward me or the fictional characters themselves.

I found it baffling how the early anti-corporate messages, with the Toons being treated as subhuman and corporate desire taking over a creative dream, wound up being perpetuated by the company itself through employee and fan mistreatment and fomo events (alongside other things...) So! I decided to take the idea of how someone's creative dreams can be twisted by desire and corporation, and I ran with it.

Google set out about a decade ago to push their (relatively unpopular) chromebooks by supplying them below-cost to schools for students, explicitly marketing them as being easy to restrict to certain activities, and in the offing, kids have now grown up in walled gardens, on glorified tablets that are designed to monetize and restrict every movement to maximize profit for one of the biggest companies in the world.
