Or maybe it's the other way around. Perhaps your F/O is the super powerful warrior from a high fantasy action video game series, but the self-insert you use is just You. Literally just you.

Maybe you're the type to find any excuse to make your character nonhuman in a series that has mostly/only human characters, or maybe it's the other way around.

Maybe you'll even use a single self-insert for all of your selfships and they can canonically hop dimensions so they're dating all of your F/Os at once.
