I hate to say it… but it’s kinda growing on me, not as bad as I thought it was. The short wig is so so so much better than the long one. His eyebrows are of course wrong, and he doesn’t have enough cheekbone. But I think that those are things my imagination can fix.

If Paul Mescal had taken estrogen to prepare for the role, then I’d feel a lot better. The hair and eyes are fantastic, but his face is so chiseled. He could never be accidentally mistaken for a woman. The original photo released was a lot better, the angle and all. As long as he looks that good from certain angles, I can pretend that he doesn’t look like the FaceApp hot Paul picture the rest of the time.

I am however, glad that he’s not ugly. He doesn’t look like John, but he’s not ugly.
