「THOW IT ALL AWAY」

“... Anyways.” Shadow sighed, the deepest sigh he ever mustered during his 50 years.

♡ ──   ❝  Obnoxious or not, it’s my job to be loud–  being an idol isn’t that easy, emo. ❞  She’s going for the kill anyways, even if she has no idea who she’s talking to. If she breaks today, it’s android homicide.

♡ ──   ❝  Yeah !  Is there a problem with being loud ?  ❞  

“As for why… If I don’t, I’ll probably fall asleep, and I would rather not thank you.- Besides, coffee is far worse and tastes worse, and while I am from Spagonia, tea is just… Not my thing.” Tempest shrugged. She honestly didn’t care whether this hedgehog was judging her or not. She’d seen so many different dimensions at this point that she had stopped caring for the negatives. “I don’t even know where this dimension’s Sonic is, let alone if he likes this stuff… And while teleporting back to my own dimension and asking my Sonic would be easy, I find myself more intrigued by this challenge.”

She wasn’t even sure if this Shadow knew what Spagonia was… But that didn’t matter at the moment. She did seek interaction with the hedgehog, despite his sour attitude… A part of her wondered if returning to her own dimension early wouldn’t be half-bad…. Although she would face the repercussions of an early teleport…. Again. Chaos Control and using it too quickly in succession never had good results when crossing universes. Tempest felt a minute shudder travel along her body at the thought. Jeez…

The shiver didn’t go unnoticed by Shadow, who eyed the girl cautiously. Was that the effect of the ridiculously sugary drink, or something more serious? A slight ‘Hmph’, before Shadow spoke again.

“Well, yes.”

Tempest retracted the drink she had been offering Shadow- an extra energy drink she’d accidentally acquired while in a previous dimension. She sighed lowly, feeling a faint trace of annoyance that was quickly destroyed from within.

“It was just an offer so I could get rid of the thing in a more productive way than tossing the can- drink and all- onto the ground in spite.” Her words contained more emotion than they once did, but it was still semi-mute. A black necklace rested around her neck, one clasp in place.

“It reeks of sugar and who knows what- why would you put that in your body?” Shadow quips, crossing his arms as he judges the human.

Tempest hummed faintly.

“I shall take that into consideration the next time I attempt to track another…. However, as the saying goes, ‘pride before a fall’.” She did a silent fast-glance around their surroundings. As much as she had been following this… Dark-type mobian for a while, she had neglected to keep track of her surroundings. That was something she would have to take better care of in the future.

“…. A question I hesitate to ask but that requires it…. What is your name?”

“I don’t feel the need to answer a foolish stalker.” Shadow responded harshly, eyes narrowed to match his sour mood.

“This is Hyrule. More specifically, Hyrule Field. From here, you can access most parts of the kingdom. It really is a beautiful country, I hope you enjoy your stay here.”

She bows her head. Formal introductions were important.

“I am Zelda. Princess of Hyrule. Who might you be?”

“Shadow.” His introduction was much shorter, taking formalities to a higher and unfriendly extreme.

Cue one very confused demon-hog looking over at them as he had no idea what the shade being mentioned even meant. Was it a reference to his clothes and quills? Or something else entirely? “Er, Yes, Your eyesight is working correctly then, I do have a lot of black on me.”

“I see.” Shadow spoke in a cool tone. His sharp eyes were like daggers, watching the other hedgehog for anything suspicious.

“S-Surely, my mind is playing tricks on me.” Shadow mumbled, a normally cold character was speaking softly, looking unsettled and confused.
