Brighid just continues to blow me away. Today was the Millbrook Short Tour. We came away with 67.241% at Training 2, 65.172% at Training 3, and AA Highpoint! She gave me everything she had, and then some. I am such a lucky kid. 💕

Lesson time.

Watching back, I can see that we need more impulsion (my trainer would say, “make it sparkle!”) but since we’re still a ways off from needing it in the ring, I’m just thrilled at Brighid’s willingness to stay between my aids and try this out. 🥰

We’ve been working on prompt transitions from vocal cues, and last night we started playing with adjusting the tempo of her canter. She got it right away!! I’ll try to get some video to show if anyone is interested.
