LH Horton Jr Gallery - Visions In Clay 2022

Visions In Clay is one of the largest exhibitions of ceramic works in Northern California. The Call for Entries is open to artists residing in the U.S. Ceramic works of any thematic and stylistic presentation is accepted for entry. Clay must be the primary medium. Works may be functional or sculptural. Assembled works may not exceed 4ft. in any dimension. This year’s Exhibition Juror is Rachel Gotlieb, Curator of Ceramic Arts, Crocker Art Museum. Gallery Exhibition: September 1–23, 2022, Online Exhibition: September 2022 – June 2023.AWARDS: $800 1st, $600 2nd, $400 3rd, $500 Regional Artist, $300 Potters Guild Award

“E-Traces” starts with a small electronic device affixed to the bottom and sides of a dancer’s shoe, developed by master of the “sewable electronics,” Lilypad Arduino.
