A Bounced Czech

Don’t you hate it when you hear it might snow, and you get so excited, and you have all these plans for your snow day, and then nothing happens?  Yeah, that’s where I’m at right now.  THIS is the most snow I saw today...needless to say, I had to go to work

There's so many Indians here, it's like the Little Big Horn...but the wrong type of Indians.

The Girlfriend

I'm in Eastland, TX for work, and there is mud EVERYWHERE. On the curbs, in the lobby, even my hotel room has a view of 2 mud pits. Scenes like this are everywhere.

If someone had told me how much work sucks when I was a kid, I probably wouldn't have ever grown up.

I have no idea why I am at work today.  No one else in the building is here...it's like a ghost town in the parking garage.  Not only that, but we don't have anything to do right now...I haven't done any real "work" in a week.  Everyone's pissed that we're not out there enjoying the nice weather. 

Watched The Office finale last night, and something Pam said stuck with me...there's beauty in ordinary things

Yesterday, I was wearing shorts. It came as a shock to me when I left The Girlfriend’s apartment this morning, in my shorts & flip flops. Sometimes, I really hate Texas weather. However, if this is any indication that this summer won't be as the last one, I'm alright with that. Wearing my hoodie for one more day before putting it to sleep in my closet for 9 months is okay with me

At a benefit concert in support of the West fertilizer plant explosion, a cause that's close to my heart. Never been to a concert festival like this by myself...it's been an odd but not horrible experience.

Can't sleep...
