The word "Ramadhan" (رمضان) comes from the word "Ramad" (رمض) which literally means "burning".

Imam Qurtubi said :

❝It was named "Ramadhan" because it burns the sins of people with good deeds.❞

وإذا لم نتمكن إلا من رؤية ما هو أبعد مما نعرفه، فسوف نملأ بالامتنان للحياة التي ندين بها

If only we can see beyond what we know. We would be filled with gratitude for the life to whom that we owe.
