I know of your reputation, of course. What I don't know is how you've managed to come this far in your magical education with such a reputation. 

Foolish? These are ultimate! This is what I show my mom and my brother when I go home for the summer and they asks me what I’ve learned, since I can’t actually show them. Thomas thinks it’s stupid but he’s seven so he’d probably think it was stupid even if I turned a tortoise into a teapot in front of him.

Seven? Oh, seven is much too old for illusions. I'm sure he's already got his mind set on much bigger things. If you enjoy pulling cards out of top hats, however, so be it. 

I think that’s cruel— turning children into rabbits. Although I was never turned into one, so there’s a chance it could be fun and I just don’t know it.

Well, if you ever decide that you do want to be turned into a rabbit for the sake of experimentation-- you know where my common room is.

Optical illusions always seemed foolish to me, but I suppose if we woo Muggles with real magic, they'll develop heart murmurs.

That’s the trick- they’re only stop being pains when they think no one’s paying attention. Make no mistake, I’ve hexed James and Sirius plenty of times when they take it too far. I haven’t reached that point with Remus yet though, and hexing Peter just wouldn’t be fair to him. But I heavily encourage others to adopt the same policy with them.

i'll be sure to keep that in mind the next time one of them is being unbearable within the same vicinity as me.

Good on you and good for him. It'd be rather depressing to see another first year turned rabbit in the Great Hall during breakfast. They eat all the greens they can get their grubby little noses in.

Oh, they’re not that bad. They can be a bit thick sometimes, and they delight in getting a rise out of, well, almost everyone, but they can be alright guys. I’m not one of the girls batting their eyelashes at them, but they’re like annoying brothers to me, like I needed more of those. Lupin is the best though, I’ll give you that.

I've never seen them at a time they weren't bloody annoying, but I'll take your word for it. I admire your strength when it comes to putting up with the lot of them, I would have hexed every one of them already.

I’m just the one who grabs him, Sirius, Remus, and Peter by their ears and tries to make them behave. It rarely works, but I give it my best effort

All the same to me when every witch around here is willing to swallow slugs for five minutes of Potter's time. It's revolting, I don't understand the appeal in any of them. Lupin has got to be the only of them that I can pretend to enjoy the company of. It's refreshing to hear that you haven't got your head up his arse, my dear Prewett.

Sounds like a bit of a pillock. I'm sure that did wonders on Professor Walsh's patience. You know how he lives for his alone time.
