Epiphany (2018)

So, as you all know, BTS dropped Jintro and my heart couldn’t take it. He’s my first bias from the group and the reason I became a fan. He is so underappreciated but damn that was a good song. Everything about it is so beautiful. It was raining outside while I was listening to the song and it just inspired me in so many ways. 

It’s been a long time since i made something worth posting. I have some sketches here and there but they are all just... meh. I am very insecure about my work. They always just seem to be... lacking. Idk. But just today, one of my old works was featured in Manila Art Post (you should check them out at ig and twitter @manilaartpost)  and it kinda blew up a little and people are starting to message me about how nice it is and that they are looking forward for more. There are not a lot of likes compared to others but it really made me happy and I kinda had this sudden drive to draw more and create more.

I know my works are far from perfect and far from good but I’m enjoying every step of making them. 

This post is getting kinda long! Anyway, I need to sleep. It’s 1 AM and I have to wake up early!

i’m gonna miss you forever

It’s a loooooong weekend! Yay!

I just got home a little while ago and immediately bought some fabric to use for a shoot. I just tested it out with some shots of my sister and all is well. I love the color of the fabric and how it looks. Yay!

This is me finding ways to avoid studying. This was a shoot I did last year that I never got to edit. I have 3 papers and two exams to work on but I just couldn’t get into it. I spent the whole night editing these low light ass photos. I struggled so much because I used the wrong camera settings while shooting and almost all photos were dark af (saved by RAW!). That was one of the reasons why it took me so long to finish editing these photos.

This set was taken at an intersection in UP. It was challenging to try to catch the right lighting from the stop lights but it was super fun.

I used to not like night photography because the post processing gets very tedious, but now that I’ve done it, it’s actually kinda fun. I don’t hate doing night photography as much (i still do a little).
