Abel heard the basement door opened and he head shot to the dark figure. Instinctively, he grabbed the sharp knife from off the table and held it close to his body. If it was Sierra, everything was going accordingly. If it was the guest of honor, there might be a slight problem. The lack of bait might cause some unwanted drama that Abel was sure he would be able to handle, he had dealt with worse, but it was overall unnecessary. But alas, he saw the petite yet deadly brunette make her way down the stairs. "Right on time," Abel gave her a knowing smile. His hands rested against the blade before he placed it back on the table. Abel rarely let anyone see this side of him, the emotionless piece of him that he channeled into righting wrongs. And Erica deserved justice, she needed to know that Mason would never hurt her again. That he wouldn't hurt anyone ever again.
