The TLR reflex enables a child to adapt to a gravity-based environment at birth. This reflex is closely linked with the Moro. Both are vestibular in origin. Symptoms of a retained TLR in a child over 3 years of age 1. Low muscle tone 2. Poor balance 3. Poor visual Perception (difficulty judging space, distance & depth) 4. Motion sickness 5. Poor Posture 6. Eye movement difficulties 7. Inability to crawl on the stomach 8. Inability to creep on hands & knees 9. Hypertonia (stiff, rigid muscle tone) 10. Poor sequencing skills 11. Poor organizational skills Learn more about our program & therapies by visiting our site https://abcfoundations.org/.
This questionnaire can help us better determine if your child’s difficulties might be possibly NDD and if they would benefit from this therapy. Click the link to learn more: https://abcfoundations.org/see-how-we-can-help.
Primitive reflexes are automatic movements that are not cortically controlled. They begin in the womb and continue up through 6 months to one year of life. For details about our NDD program, visit https://abcfoundations.org/.
The Moro reflex is a startle response – the first “fight or flight” response of an individual. Because the Moro reflex is connected to all of the other senses (light, sound, touch, smell, or taste) the effects of its retention are significant. Symptoms of a retained Moro Reflex in a child above 1 year: 1. Hypersensitivity to sound & touch 2. Emotional Immaturity 3. Hyper-reaction 4. Stimulus bound 5. Free Floating Anxiety 6. Poor Attention, Balance & Coordination 7. Compromised immune functioning 8. Easily overstimulated 9. Inability to respond appropriately to situations 10. Photosensitivity 11. Visual perception Problems 12. Auditory Confusion See how we can help visit our site https://abcfoundations.org/.

Neuro-Developmental Delay is the retention of a cluster of primitive reflexes above the age of one as well as the absence or underdevelopment of postural reflexes above the age of three and a half years. When primitive reflexes are still present in a child beyond the age of one and postural reflexes are absent or underdeveloped beyond the age of three and a half, that is an indication of immaturity within the central nervous system. The reflexes are said to be abnormal. NDD Therapy is slow methodical movements that allow a child to work through their difficulties by recapturing earlier stages of development that may have been missed along the way. Visit https://abcfoundations.org/ for more details.

Many of the symptoms of Neuro-Developmental Delay at the brain stem level are also symptoms of some diagnoses such as ADHD, ADD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Sensory processing disorder, Auditory Processing disorder, etc. Most of the shared symptoms are a result of dysfunction or immaturity in the Central Nervous System. See how we can help — contact us today at 330-208-2494 or visit our site https://abcfoundations.org/.

Your child may need NDD therapy for the following reasons: Inability of the child to recognize body-space or have body awareness, inability to control appropriate versus inappropriate behavior, overly-reactive or overly emotional, and difficulties with balance and/or gross or fine motor skills. Visit abcfoundations.org to fill out a child screening questionnaire.
NDD therapy is NOT a cookie-cutter approach. We do not have every child on the same therapy protocol. Each child is given a customized program based on their specific need. We do not teach coping mechanisms or compensation techniques. Our therapy is completely drug-free and allows a child to work through their difficulties by recapturing earlier stages of development that may have been missed along the way. Visit abcfoundations.org to learn more.
ABC Foundations is a drug-free academic/learning remediation center that offers services to children with learning and academic difficulties. Our drug-free remediation follows the natural order of development within the central nervous system beginning at the brain stem level. Visit abcfoundations.org to learn more about the treatment.
