days of laughter &. play under a blazing sun were foreign to shiloh, the lack of pigment in her skin making it near impossible for her to experience such. it was more than okay though, for she carried enough sunlight within her to grow sunflowers as she strolls through the grass. rarely did her heart hold sadness or anything of that sort, however it seemed tonight melancholy would pulsate though her heart &. veins.
a boy. one with dark hair, olive skin, &. one hell of a german accent, stark in contrast to her own looks &. delicate voice. he had instantly caught her attention, not sparing any time in catching her heart either. conversations while walking, giggling as feet were dipped in a cool stream, cuddling together under willow trees, this had been one of her favorite summers. all things come to a close though, &. this is why the sunshine girl was, for the first time, heartsick.
shimmied down her drainpipe, careful not to dirty or tear her specially chosen tutu-esque skirt, shiloh practically skipped her way to their meeting point, removing her shoes as soon as the soft grass was beneath her snow feet. shoes clutched in one hand, her smile grew as he spoke to her, shiloh bunny hopping her way over to him.

even with this melancholy of her heart, she still managed to be happy.

The warmth from her almost too sweet smile made up for the fact his toes were a bit numbed from the late night breeze. It wasn’t cold, but he was a bit sensitive to temperatures and tended to whine when the first hints of autumn had begun.
Shaking off the brief bemusement brought on by the girl’s odd word choice, something he had happily become quite accustomed to by now, he put his arms around her dainty little shoulders and touched his lips to hers for a much too brief few seconds.
“How’re you today lovebug?”
