Powerful demon!SY who has unwittingly seduced LQG through various methods (fighting, dressing like an average millennial and nerd-ing out about monsters) until LQG just canβt take the sexual tension anymore and pushes him down during one of his rants about demonic beasts. SY is surprised but letβs LQG hold him down and kiss him (like the inexperienced virgins they both are) until he for some harebrained reason suspects LQG might have an injury and effortlessness flips them over to check for wounds and be overall very panicky and fussy. And LQG just being absolutely stunned with embarrassment.
Itβd probably take a while until SY is assured everything is well, at which point he will flip them over AGAIN, lay down like the pillow princess he is and go "ok, you may continue pushing me down now" while pretending that entire embarrassing interlude just didnβt happen.

I am writing Shen Jiu as someone who prefers to just say the people he cares about's given names rather than the nicknames he liked as a child, so when Yue Qingyuan and him fix what is between them, he simply calls him Qingyuan.
But Yue Qingyuan will get his 'Qi-Ge.' Shen Jiu for one time only will choose the discomfort and pain that comes with calling him that to prove to him that he still believes the boy that would always choose him still exists in him, and that he has chosen to try and believe that it has always been the part of him that he has shown him.
Shen Jiu does not like Shen Yuan but luckily they are both posers first and foremost. Yes, this is his brother, Shen Yuan. Yes, he's aware he's never mentioned him ever, he doesn't owe anyone an explanation of his family. No, he will not answer any questions now, he's here now, deal with it.
Shen Yuan is a little confused as to where the switch up came from, but he's happy Shen Jiu is playing along with his goal.
In my Alternative Route AU, I am obsessed with the idea that being nice doesn't come very easily for Shen Yuan. We already see this a bit in canon, but I want to work with that idea more when he has more freedom.
Shen Jiu believes that Shen Yuan is just rude to him because Shen Jiu is Shen Jiu and no one likes him, but once he makes progress into being a better person, Shen Yuan admits that being nice to others is difficult for him too, and that if all the thoughts in his head were what he had to say, he would be even more hated than Shen Jiu by some people.
The lesson wouldn't settle in immediately, but at some point, Shen Jiu does take those words to heart and realises that it isn't as black and white as 'You are completely good and innocent' and 'you are cruel beyond words and deserve it' and that even if he does believe his nature is inherently cruel and irredeemable, maybe he can try and convince others it isn't anyway. And maybe one day he can convince himself as well.

Yue Qingyuan is pining, Wei Qingwei and Qi Qingqi broke up years ago but never fell out of love and refuse to acknowledge them making it everyone elses issues, Liu Qingge is pretty sure a social cue is that beast he killed last week, Mu Qingfang has an obsession with medicine that would be classified as perverted had he had even half as many desires as a monk, Shang Qinghua is a hack author in the worlds most concerning situationship, and obviously there are all the issues that Shen Qingqiu has. And that's only the peak lords he knows by name!
Shen Yuan: I've got some good plans for the future. I'll marry Qi Qingqi and research beasts
Shen Jiu: I know you have mentioned your own worlds difficulties with gay people, but you know that isn't the case here. I will not like your husband, but I will support you. There is no need to marry someone you don't love.

When Shen Jiu eventually tells Shen Yuan about Qiu Haitang, Shen Yuan is so ready to hear him tear her to shreds with his words, and is so surprised when it is just compliment after compliment. This is a woman who will ruin his life if he can't get it back on track, and he's just praising her? Not even that, he's not sure he's ever heard him praise someone! It certainly adds something he can work with to his likeabiltiy as long as he can find a way to stop Qiu Haitang being one of Luo Binghes wives
Shen Yuan: You must be pretty in love with her still then
Shen Jiu: Of course not. I could never force my affections on a woman, and luckily, I will not. I'm a cutsleeve after all.
Shen Yuan is once again forced to face the fact that he actually knows nothing about his character. How is he supposed to work with this information! Why is the main villain even gay to begin with!?
Shen Yuan: It's good to see you are getting along with my brother finally. I had always thought your rivalry was more two-sided, but if all it took was an apology, I suppose not.
Liu Qingge: It wasn't just an apology, he also has tried to be civil with me. That's why I am trying to be civil with him.

It is very difficult to write Shen Jiu wanting Shen Yuan around and caring for and trusting him while still trying to stick with an at least half decent attempt at canon, but I think I stumbled onto the best way accidentally. Shen Yuan makes no attempt at pretending he likes Shen Jiu at first unless it is in front of others, but still chooses to stick by him time and time again. He is honest and brutal about his intentions, but they aren't necessarily selfish intentions, the goal is first and foremost 'give Shen Jiu help'. Shen Yuan complains every step of the way that the System has tasked him to take on the impossible task of helping him through his issues and trauma, but he does the seemingly impossible task anyway, and as far as Shen Jiu is willing to concern himself with, no one else has done that even when they didn't think it was impossible.
Qi Qingqi: I don't trust your brother in the slightest, so don't listen to anything he says about me. I am not a heartless bitch, I am not a whore, I am not hopelessly in love with Wei-Shixiong, who is my ex boyfriend from our disciple days who I had a ten year fling with before cutting things off because I was scared of having to be honest with how I felt about him, and I am not stealing all the female disciples he has his eye on for no reason
Shen Yuan: I feel like one of those is true
