English Language Criteria

On the professional level, candidates who score the following marks will receive 10 points.

IELTS 7-plus  

 65+ mark for PTE

 B pass for ET

 24 in L , 27 in W, 24 in R, 23 in S for TOEFL

An additional 20 points will be awarded for a superior level if the candidate achieves the points below.

 IELTS 8 or higher

  PTE score of 79+,

  ET pass A

  For TOEFL, 28 in L, 30 in W, 29 in R, and 26 in S

Engineers are the official assessing authorities for the relevant reports. If you don't match the required level of accuracy, you won't get any points.

Sponsorship by the State (Visa 190)

With a sponsoring state visa, you can obtain a maximum of 5 points. This visa is distinct from the 189 visas. This visa requires you to stay in the designated region for the first two years of your stay.

Professional Year’s Program

For engaging in the professional year program, you will receive an extra five points. If you completed a professional year program in Australia and are qualified to work as a professional in the country, you may be eligible to apply.

Sponsorship in the Region

This is a four-year temporary visa that will be upgraded to permanent residency if regional sponsorship is obtained. This Visa might get you a total of ten points. According to this visa, you must migrate to a regional area to be eligible for this point. After four years of residency in the selected area, you will be a permanent resident.

Study in a Regional Area of Australia

You will discover that completing your studies in a regional context has much to offer. You will gain an additional 10 points if you complete your studies from any prohibited site. A bachelor's degree, a certification, a master's degree, or any other two-year study could be considered.

Work Experience 

There's a significant chance you'll gain bonus points if you completed your skilled labour in Australia. Three years of international experience is comparable to one year of work in Australia.

For applicants staying outside Australia

Five points will be awarded to applicants with three to five years of experience.

Applicants with five to eight years of experience will be awarded ten points.

A total of 15 points will be awarded to those with eight years of experience.

For applicants staying in Australia

Applicants with one year but less than three years of experience will receive a bonus of five points.

Applicants with three years but less than five years of experience will be awarded ten points.

Applicants having five years of experience but less than eight years will be awarded 15 points.

A 20-point bonus will be given to those with more than eight years of experience.

National Accreditation Authority (NAATI Exam)

You will receive five bonus points if you take the NAATI exam. Because it is provided by the government to promote multiculturalism, this exam is also known as community language points. This test will be needed of you when you arrive in Australia.
