He drinks his beer with his wine

Sitting there wondering why it hasn’t already been his time

Not to be ungrateful

But wondering

Because after all he’s done he should have died

After all the drinks, shots, and lines

He should be alive

And he sits there and wonders why?

What’s still the reason for him to be?

Asking for God to give him a sign please

But he keeps sipping his beer and wine

He sits, wonders and asks why?

Sits and reminisces

Looking back at the times

Trying to muster up more fight

More drive

To keep going

Rather than ask “why?”

Sitting there at the bar

And a child with their mother walks by

Thinking how he used to be one

That he was someone’s kid once;

And about his choices

What would my mother think of mine?

Do I ask this when I use every time?

Caught in a mindset of wanting to stay alive

And throwing everything to the side

Because he’s tired of feeling like he’s died inside

‘Cause the drugs don’t even work anymore for him to get high

Knowing he knows he needs to do what’s right-

Put the drugs down,

And solve his restless days and night with a instant gratificational time

So he keeps tossing back his drinks

So the thoughts will ease up and subside

He sits, wonders and asks why?

Sits and reminisces

Looking back at the times

Trying to muster up more drive

More fight

So he sits there and writes a poem or a song to let go-

Of all the thoughts in his head that keep coming up

That keep going on; Can’t let go

Realize he does it all, in the end, for attention and love

Wonders what he needs to do to get enough

So he doesn’t give up

Lonliness is a disease only cured by someone finally realizing: “They’re enough”

Because he’s learning drive and fight

Every motion I feel a little less alive

As I cry, I lose every notion of you

Shining without a ring

The moon

Like we're both looking at it

It’s like a chemical reaction how I keep coming back to you

Like a communicative connection or a synapsis of the mind

How we’re drawn together like the law of attraction

Time after time

How you’ve always been everything and I’ve only been distracted

How I’ve been icing my heart with’em, blurring the thoughts of my mind

Or numbing my impatience, when love doesn’t grow unless its watered over time

Maybe because it’s because I’ve always known you’re the spark that starts fire in every heart

How you do what you do

Unfathomable

Time to start writing more have to give you more credit

And quit crying that I merely have to wait a little while

Driving me insane to have me come back to my sanity on any given day

Because you don’t want me to give up on me

Alongside the sublime simplicity of listening to beauty through headphones that sound bootleg

But I

Better yet, “We”

Wouldn’t have it any other way

Someone once said to me, “When you feel like life’s ended or you feel like you have nothing left to lose

(Going through a personal struggle of pulling myself out of my own rock bottom.. but stay optimistic, and hopeful, also grateful for my chosen family (Vom Blösh) because without them I’d be in even worse condition and no where even close to where I am now or would need to be. And for that I love and thank them eternally, no matter how crazy I or/nor they may seem. Love is unconditional, and I say that gratefully. And even though we’re all crazy, I still love them because they see past flaw’s, as long as life is capable of being manageable and sustainable. It only took be to fall through the middle to get there to realize.)
