what seems to be a spider/cat hybrid enters the hospital, walking up to the check-in counter, looking down at Annie — wow, he was a tall animal..

Weaver seems to notice how they immediately seem more energetic when they seemed tired as he walked in, and decide they may as well stay and talk. "well, I suppose I'm not in a rush, I can stay and talk if you'd like? sitting at this counter all day checking in patients must be boring, I can only imagine you'd like some type of conversation... whats your name?"

"well, nice to meet you, annie." the hybrid lets himself into the office, making himself comfortable on the counter next to the badge printer. his chelicerae twitch. "interesting animals? like anomalies?— oh, in a good way. so just generally interesting."

Weaver laughs a little. "i'll come more often, then. ;;;3" he hums, chelicerae grinding together when he laughs and making a sound similar to purring — despite him being able to make actual purring sounds, as a cat. he pauses and looks Annie over. "..are those tentacles?" he asks, noticing the tentacles that sprouted out behind them and on one side of their face from their nervousness and excitement. he doesnt seem to be reacting badly to the sight, at least. just...curious.

at the sound, annie just. stares at weaver's chelicerae for a moment, before snapping out of it and cupping both their paws around their coffee, taking a sip. when weaver mentions its tentacles, they nearly choke on their drink. it quickly re-disguises its tentacles. had it gotten so comfortable that it forgot to hide its anomalous features?

"I do, but that's because I'm a hybrid, not an anomaly. ....you do know im not going to react badly if you confirm it, right? i already saw them. I dont quite mind if you have anomalous features, you seem very kind, and that kind of cancels it out." he reassures them, chelicerae rubbing together once more in another purring sound.

"of course. I don't wish harm upon anomalies unless the anomaly itself is hostile. if they're nice like you, then so am I." Weaver hums, spider limbs in his lap while his paws are on either side of his legs. he's still using his chelicerae to make that almost-purring sound.
