This is my main blog, rb blog is https://www.tumblr.com/stardusted-rbs.
Sorry to everyone who followed me for FE Dimileth but itâs mostly Kirby and Sky: Cotl here, plus Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Hollow Knight, Rain World, and maybe more.

THATS MY BESTIE!! Ery is amazing and i can 100% vouch for them/their services! They were a long time user on here before the fucking cops (tumblr admin) nuked their account in the Black blogger purge. Definitely reach out to Ery if you need help!!
hey all. iâm devastated to have to do this, but after multiple direct attempts to communicate my boundaries and my desire to be left alone, i have no choice but to make this full public post in the hope of obtaining peace.
it goes without saying, but despite the severity of this post and the discomfort and pain this experience has caused to me and others, i do not under any circumstance want to see that pain and discomfort forwarded; do not harass or approach this person at all.
for the last three years, user nokk0 (recently renamed to verostruck on discord) has been a serial thief of my work. this includes 1:1 traces of my art, complete recreations of my tumblr posts, lifting my character design elements (including word-for-word recreations of my character lore), copying of my personal presentation online, and continuing to seek my work on alternative social medias after a tumblr block.
on top of this, she is an incredibly prolific art-tracer who has not only been stealing my work, but the work of at least half a dozen other artists for the entire duration of her time in the kirby OC tumblr community
since february this year (2026), after i pulled her up on tracing one of my comics and once again requested that she stop copying my work, she has been block evading me on tumblr and joining discord servers i am in in order to continue copying my work, as well as to find and trace gift art drawn for me by my friends. while i have shouldered my own discomfort at her behaviour for many years, this is a line i cannot sit back and watch be crossed.
i will keep this as brief as possible, but because of the sheer length of time this has been going on and volume of stolen content, thereâs a lot to cover. be advised that even this does not include everything. this experience has been a gradual boiling pot of pain and dehumanisation for me, watching my work and my character be stolen repeatedly and increasingly over years, while someone else proudly claimed it as their own within my own community spaces.
i will predominantly be addressing theft of my own work and crossing of my stated boundaries. aside from one single case- which i received explicit permission to include- i will NOT be directly addressing any of the art she has copied from other artists.
however, while collecting evidence of the theft that affected me, i saw traced artwork belonging to multiple mutuals of mine, and a handful of artists i do not know personally.Â
if you are or have been an artist in the kirby or kirby OC community between 2024-2026, you may also find your work has been copied. none of the copied works i observed on Nokk0âs blog were ever credited to their original artist.
i would also like to acknowledge up front that while it is incredibly rude to treat another artist as a free resource, an amount of inspiration, copying, and even tracing of other artists' work is completely understandable, especially in beginner artists. just make sure you credit them directly with a link to their original work, and stop referencing them if they request you stop. i understand that, especially in a fandom, you absolutely cannot expect to own any broad idea, theme, or story beat. i understand that admiration and inspiration can often manifest itself a lot like copying until the artist finds their creative feet, and that an artistâs biggest fans can also be their biggest copiers.
the problem here is not that inspiration was taken or even that tracing occurred. the problem is that Nokk0 has not only traced or referenced almost every art piece she has ever posted and claimed full credit, but that she continued to do this behaviour with me in particular after i have laid out my boundaries and told her multiple times to stop.
it is clear to me that Nokk0 understands this behaviour is wrong, and yet she continues to do it.
a summary of the following evidence will follow.
1:1 copies of my art, art gifted to me, or my posts
timeline of events including my direct communication with Nokk0 informing her multiple times that i was not okay with this level of copying
evidence that despite unmistakeably clear communication of my boundaries, Nokk0 continues to trace from me and block evades to continue copying my work
evidence of Nokk0 duplicating every element of my character design, storytelling, and even my social media layouts
â evidence of tracing & copying art, block evasion, and timeline of events from 2024-2026
i would like to precede this by noting that Nokk0 is a traditional-medium exclusive artist. this means that it is likely most âtracingâ occurred via the eyeballing method. this form of referencing is often totally okay when you are using free-use stock images, but can quickly become theft when you are using another artistâs creative work, especially uncredited and claiming it as your own. i have said many times- both on my blog and to Nokk0 directly- that i personally am not okay with my work being treated as free uncredited reference material, after which she continued to do it for a span of years.
in many cases Nokk0 also makes clear attempts to obscure the similarities to the work she is copying by flipping all or parts of the work horizontally, frankensteining multiple different art pieces together, or replacing a character with another (ie: an oc into a canon character, Meta Knight into Galacta Knight, etc). nonetheless, the derivative nature of these art pieces is so quickly recognisable that i and others have immediately clocked not only that the work was based stylistically on mine, but which exact work of mine was copied and where.
once again, i will be focusing on only infringement on my content and crossing of my own boundaries. i do not know the boundaries of other artists whose work has been copied, and i wonât speak for them.
evidence of Nokk0âs serial tracing of my artwork dates over three years, to early 2024. there is no content on her blog prior to this timeframe, and in fact her first published work is fanart for my OC.
around this time, Nokk0 also spent a lot of time in my tumblr inbox, reassurance seeking about exactly how much of my work she was allowed to copy. i told her, repeatedly, that while i was flattered to be an inspiration i was not okay with comprehensive or 1:1 recreations of my work.Â
iâm including only excerpts, but these asks can be publicly found on my blog. the excerpts below come from here specifically, where the entire ask response and additional comments can be read in full.
> the only thing i ask (and i'll clarify that i do not think this is what you are doing at all, what you suggested is fine!) is that folks don't take or use a 1:1 copy of everything in entirety of what i'm doing. designs, lore, storytelling quirks, etc etc, all at once.
> the corrupted signature is just one part of my story, and many folks are already using that idea! it's only plagiarism when it's many parts copied all together in my opinion.Â
at this time, in May 2024, i believed this was clear enough.
this interaction was before i had observed any tracing. i thought that what Nokk0 was interested in doing was writing a story using one of my general headcanons and the idea of a falling star based character- definitely not things i can claim ownership over.
however, for the next year and a half, Nokk0 proceeded to trace or reference dozens of my works and lift design/lore elements from my OC for her own. i have presented a select few below in chronological order.
finally, in early January 2026, Nokk0 posted a comic that included panels copied from mine. she posted this in a public kirby oc discord server we share, Stargate.
not only are the layouts and panel compositions lifted from my comic, the speech bubbles and specific unique dialogue style i use for Morpho and the comicâs narrative are being directly copied, with Nokk0âs own character inserted in my characterâs place.
on good faith, i assumed that Nokk0 did not mean harm by this. i understand that it can be hard to know where the line between inspiration and copying lies, and that every artist can have a different boundary on this topic.Â
i replied to her in the Stargate server, hoping to restate my boundaries clearly and without room for misunderstanding. i remained respectful, requesting only that she change her behaviour regarding my work moving forward and hoping she would do so once she understood how it made me feel. [transcript below, screenshot here]
> hi Nokk0!! i'm well aware you and others have been referencing my work for a while. despite previously stating that i don't like people doing so, i've been very patient and polite about it these past few years, because i understand some folks are still growing as artists and discovering their own footing! i also know that it's not being done with ill intent or maliciousness, and is predominantly coming from a place of inspiration or admiration.
> however this is a panel by panel eyeball of my comic, inclusive of panel compositions and themes, right down to the dialogue-style. the comet panel is copied from another comic of mine, which was giftart for a friend. i don't like this kind of theft or inspiration, so i would rather you don't copy my work in this way!
> i've actually been planning for months to make a public announcement about this to clarify my boundaries on this kind of thing, because it is being so pervasively experienced by myself and other members of this community. i deeply appreciate that folks are inspired by my art, but people have been tracing, colour-picking, and stealing my creative work for the two years i've been in this community, and- as you can imagine!- it makes me deeply uncomfortable and upset to have my work treated this way.Â
unfortunately, this was not the case. when Nokk0 still continued to post traced art of mine into February, i blocked her on tumblr.
within the month she changed her name on discord to be more reminiscent of my characterâs name. she edited her online presentation to match mine- such as lifting large amounts of text and stylisation directly from my artfight and tumblr masterposts.
within another month she had joined a second discord server i co-moderate in order to continue tracing my artwork, as well as to search for gift art drawn by my friends to also trace and insert her character into.
to this day she continues to copy and reference my artwork- for tracing, compositions, ideas, and dialogues. she continues to make complete recreations of whole entire posts, and to steal my characterâs storywork and flavour text 1:1. with every new update i make on my own tumblr, she changes her characterâs lore to match anything newly revealed in mine.Â
she also continues to trace and copy the work of other artists in the kirby oc community.
all of the following examples of her work are dated after i once again asked her to stop copying my work (January 7th 2026), and after i blocked her on tumblr. it includes referencing images that i did not post until after i blocked Nokk0, which suggests she block evaded to find them.
after being blocked by me on tumblr, Nokk0 joined the Kirby OC Tournament (KOCT) discord server, which i co-moderate and have a full character page for starstruck in, on 28 March 2026.Â
within days she was posting copies of work that i had only ever posted on that server, and which could be found nowhere else.
additionally, she began copying gift-art done for me by friends. the below example is an art piece posted by my friend Aseuki (included with permission) of our two ocs- Phemus and starstruck- playing together.
this art piece was posted only in the KOCT server where it is tagged with starstruckâs full name and on Aseukiâs offsite toyhouse, and never on tumblr.
this was the first time i noticed Nokk0 copying gift art made for me by others, but since then i have discovered numerous other examples of her copying gift art and replacing starstruck with one of her own characters. as this makes it clear that the issue of her tracking my online activity no longer affects only me, and is in fact directly impacting people who did me the kindness of drawing a gift for me, i resolved to make this post in June 2026.Â
to the other artists whose gift art for me she copied in this way, i am deeply sorry.
â evidence of character theft, 2024-2026
in addition to tracing artwork and copying posts, Nokk0 has stolen almost every aspect of my singular oc, starstruck dee, scraping my work with near 100% coverage. my visual design work, storytelling work, and direct text have all been copied by her.
pictured: 1) an excerpt from my 2024 reference sheet for starstruck dee, my only published kirby oc, who has remained broadly unchanged since her debut.
throughout 2024-2025, when we were both active in the OC tourney, she made several sona drawings that were color-picked from and traced over starstruck, including traces of gift art of starstruck by others. this character was so similar in design to starstruck that many folks assumed that it was starstruck until i told them otherwise.
in late 2025 and through to 2026, she has progressively redesigned her primary OC Fal to increasingly closely resemble starstruck.Â
in the second design, Nokk0 copies only starstruckâs emotive cheek stars/constellations, but makes them rainbow as a point of difference. i knew this was copied from me, but tolerated it in the hope she would grow out of it eventually.
by the third design, finalised in february 2026 after i spoke to and blocked her, multiple iconic design elements from starstruck have been copied exactly. her blue eyes with a pink heart at the bottom and a white pupil, her golden star-buckle design (positioned in the centre of a collar that now recalls its location on her bow and used to hide a star-shaped scar), her blush and pink round cheeks covered in freckles, the âpeakâ of the heart shaped marking in the centre of her forehead, and her facial stylisation/silhouette. the emotive cheek stars are now an identical rendition of starstruckâs; white with a glowing pink border. a huge proportion of Nokk0âs art of Fal in this redesign has his head traced from artwork of starstruck.
since i spoke to her in January 2026, this behaviour has seemed to only escalate. after blocking her in February 2026, there have been countless examples of her continuing to copy my work for Fal and her newly debuted OC, G.
in fact, almost every fact she has posted about any of her characters first appeared in my work for starstruck.Â
to save time here i will use paraphrased text summaries of a selection (not all) of the traits that she copied from my work, but you can find the original copies listed on nokk0's toyhouse [backup screenshot], artfight [backup screenshot, backup screenshot], and many character references and posts on her blog.Â
as with my other evidence, this is merely a selection of all the work that was stolen.
in many cases Nokk0 copies whole backstories, texts, and design elements from my work-
and portrays them in exactly the same way that i do-
and religiously copies smaller details from my blog, such as songs i posted from my OC playlists, my masterpost layouts, and various presentations of my work across both tumblr and artfight.
to this day, you can find an excerpt from my masterpost, almost entirely unedited, copied onto hers.
this last june she even went so far as to trace a previous pride month artwork of my character (who is a sona, representing my own identities) while copying the exact identities- aroace, xenogender, polyam qpr, a sexless character who does not understand the social structure of romance but none the less is happily able to date multiple people- onto her own OC. identities her character only developed after i spoke publicly about my own identity and pronouns.
â conclusion
Nokk0âs pattern of behaviour is no longer simple inspiration, or even art theft.Â
she has followed me closely for over three years, copying almost every creative piece i have ever posted in this community, from my art to my designs, my lore to my blog layouts, even my rules and my content warnings. the additional copying of my othered experience as an autistic and chronically disabled adult- an experience that i portrayed on my oc starstruck with deep intentionality- and the copying of my queer identities, was truly unspeakably uncomfortable.
to treat not only ALL of my creative work, but also my own lived and experienced identity, as though it is stock reference material is horrifically dehumanising and creepy. tracking my art, and my friendâs art, through servers i am in is wilful and intentional block evasion, and purposeful disrespect of my plainly stated boundaries.
as i have already tried multiple times and failed to encourage her to change her behaviour and respect the wishes of others around her, i do not believe that any amount of discussion with Nokk0 individually will change these habits. because of the extraordinary depths of the theft and total lack of original input from her, i no longer believe there is any way for Nokk0 to revitalise her existing characters or her existing work into anything original.
not only has this been unsettling and agonising to me personally, but Nokk0âs behaviour is to the detriment of this creative community. once i began work on this post, i learned that i am far from the only person being affected.Â
i must speak out. for myself, for my friends whose work was stolen simply because it contained my character. and i must speak out to protect the many other artists in this community Nokk0 has stolen from while proudly claiming all the praise for work that has never been her own.

Do you have any advice for coming up with non-main-plot hijinks? In my writing, I find that my long stories tend to have too straightforward plots, without complications and smaller problems to help with characterization and stuff
Complications and smaller problems are a natural consequence of your characters being characters and not just plot-executing automatons. If your characters feel too married to the plot to have non-plot wants and needs, it might be worth going into your mind-palace and asking them a few questions:
What do you do when nothing needs doing? How do you relax? CAN you relax?
How do you handle peace? Do you enjoy it? Do you trust it? Do you look for distractions, or for threats?
What would you be doing if the plot wasn't in the way? Have you ever really thought about it?
Now that things have slowed down a little, how do you feel about the stuff that just happened? Do you need to talk about it?
I'm the writer, so I know what's coming next, but you don't. What uncertainties are currently preying on your mind? Do you want to do anything to resolve them? How do you handle it if you can't?
What goals do you personally have that aren't shared with the rest of your crew? Do you have an opportunity to pursue that right now? Do you think anyone else in the crew might want to help you with that?
The camera mostly focuses on the important plot beats, but what do you do when the camera's off? What's your morning routine? What do you do for dinner? What does a Normal Day look like when the plot's not intruding?
The events of the plot typically put the characters into a reactive state, responding to outside circumstances and problems. What do they do when they're in an active state with nothing to react to? How do they want to steer themselves when they're given the choice?
Can unfortunately confirm this is 100% real. Sources and more info below.
EFF's Threat Lab used static code analysis to confirm Meta deployed facial recognition to millions of Ray-Ban smart glasses. The "Name Tag"
TL;DR: On June 4, 2026, the Electronic Frontier Foundation published âMove Fast, Surveil Things,â confirming through static code analysis that Meta has already deployed facial recognition code to millions of Ray-Ban smart glasses. The internal âName Tagâ feature converts every face in view into a 2,048-number faceprint array and matches it against a stored database. An EFF researcher activated the feature in debug mode and watched the glasses detect a known face in real time. Metaâs spokesperson says this is just âevidence of exploration.â Exploration doesnât ship to millions of devices. This is staging for launch, and internal documents show Meta planned to flip the switch while privacy groups were too busy to fight back.
...You donât need a central database when every user builds their own local faceprint collection. The faces still get scanned. The biometric data still gets created. Meta just outsources the storage to your phone, and the legal liability to you.
-via State of Surveillance, June 7, 2026. Emphasis mine.
But good news! There are things you can do to protect yourself and your community. As quoted from the article:
What You Can Do
Assume Youâre Being Scanned
If someone near you is wearing Ray-Ban Meta glasses, treat it like a running camera, because it is. The small LED indicator thatâs supposed to signal recording can be covered with tape, and Metaâs âalways enabledâ mode processes video without activating it [6]. The Nearby Glasses app can detect Meta Ray-Bans via Bluetooth.
Lock Down Your Meta Profiles
Name Tag matches faces against Meta platform data. If you have Facebook or Instagram accounts, set your profile photo to something that isnât your face. Make your accounts private. Better yet, consider whether you need them at all. Every photo of your face on Metaâs platforms is training data for identifying you later.
Support the Legal Pushback
The EFF, ACLU, and EPIC are fighting this on legal, legislative, and technical fronts. Texasâs investigation proves state-level enforcement works: Meta paid $1.4 billion last time Texas came knocking over biometrics. Push for biometric privacy laws in your state. Illinois and Texas showed the way.
Donât Buy the Glasses
Every pair sold expands the surveillance network. Meta has shipped millions already. Each one is a camera pointed at everyone else. If you own a pair, understand that the facial recognition code is on your device right now, and Meta can activate it with a software update whenever they decide the political moment is right.
-via State of Surveillance, June 7, 2026. Emphasis mine. And remember that for an undocumented person in the US right now, facial recognition spyware identifying them could be the difference between life and death.
hi i just want everyone to know that i will never ever EVER be angry with anyone for not replying to my texts even though youâre visibly online and reblogging/posting. i understand that holding a conversation takes a lot more energy and effort than scrolling and posting and thatâs 100% okay. take care of yourself first. the whole idea that you HAVE to reply to someone when youâre online is toxic and makes mentally ill people feel as though they are bad friends just because they canât always reply within minutes.Â
this is in excel btw. and this image is exactly half green and half pink. and for each shade of green there is an equal number of "opposite" pink pixels. and this represents a major leap forward in excel macro use by me
the origin of this concept was, oh, what if you were trying to recreate an image as a tapestry? and you had, say, 24 colors of yarn? and you wanted the image to have equal amounts of each color of yarn? how would you effectively use the yarn you had to create the image? you'd have to look at all the colors of the original image, then look at your yarn colors, and find some consistent method for choosing what original colors are replaced with what yarn colors. but then it turns out there's a lot of different rules you could imagine or follow, which produce different-looking images. and you can end up with something like this:
which is cool. and it would be cool to say, find a granny square cardigan pattern with 24 squares, knit these squares, make a sick cardigan. but then i realized i don't know how to knit or anything. and once you accept that there isn't really a clear "application" and this concept lives on a screen, you open yourself up to more possibilities. a la birth of venus.
step 1: python script that looks at the original image and generates an excel spreadsheet the same dimensions (793 x 1322 pixels = 793 x 1322 cells), and each cell is populated with the hex code of the color that appears in that pixel of the original image
step 2: excel macro to generate list of every unique hex code that appears in the excel spreadsheet.
step 3: excel macro to calculate the R, G, B values of each of those hex codes.
step 4: excel macro to fill each cell with the color of that hex code (not necessary, i just like to do it).
step 5: I add in Saturation (the difference between the largest and smallest RGB value) and Lightness (average of all RGB values).
step 6: pick a color palette. i always find myself gravitating towards groovy seventies palettes with warm reds and oranges, so i decided not to do that this time. i looked on coolors and found a color palette that was all dark greens that were similar to each other. there were only like four colors or something in this palette. and to make it truly different from the other project, there should be a small gradient. so i determined the smallest possible change between colors and used an excel macro to color it. i was going to stop here and do the entire image in shades of green (inspired by that guy on tiktok that paints using only one color) but then. idk. i realized the "opposite" of each color was an equally subtly changing pink. so i imagined that the end of this process would be an "abstract" image, with subtle variations of pink and green, that would end up suggesting birth of venus.
so all told, i had 502 unique replacement colors, 251 of which are green, 251 of which are pink. (793 x 1322) / 502 = either 2088 or 2089 of each color.
step 7: find some method for finding the difference between the original colors of the image and my new color palette. I use a method of comparing, R, G, B, S and L:
and you come up with something like this. on the left, those are colors that appear in the original image. across the top, those greens are the colors i'm replacing it with. in blue, that's the number of each new color i have to work with (it's just blue for contrast). and in the center, this pink area, that's a giant spreadsheet with the "objective" difference between each original color and each replacement color. it's pink because i have some conditional formatting applied, ignore that part.
and in this situation, you have some choices to make. in the original image up there, i used a schema prioritizing light and dark--i.e., i looked at the darkest color (pure black) that appeared in the original image, then found the closest replacement color (i.e., the replacement color with the smallest number). then did the same with the lightest color. then the next darkest, next lightest.
but i'm going to do it slightly differently this time. and i don't know how this image will come out looking.
if you look at the "first" green, closest to the left, and sort by smallest to largest:
you can see that these colors on the left are closest to the "first" green i've decided to work with. that might seem odd. i mean, #7F9800--> #00a94f are pretty close, but #A95400 is red. but that's just a difference in hue. really, #A95400 and #00a94f are very similar in lightness and saturation.
and this also calculates the number of times that color actually appears in the original image. that first specific green, #7F9800, only appears twice. but some colors, like actual black #000000, appear something like 46,000 times. and if you add all the numbers in the "frequency" column, it should exactly equal the sum of each replacement color (2088 ish x 502).
step 8: excel macro again. this one is complicated. basically it sorts that first "green" column (column E in my spreadsheet) from smallest to largest. then it adds each cell in the "frequency" column until it reaches or surpasses the blue cell above column E, which for this particular color is 2089. it copies those "original image" colors and their respective frequencies over to another sheet. for the color that surpassed 2089, it splits in two. then it deletes that column E. Then it makes sure "frequency" and "replacement color sum" still total. then it runs again on the new column E, until the whole spreadsheet is used up. and it generates something like:
[color from original image] [number of times that color appears] [replacement color, filled in]
and there's approximately 8000 lines of that.
i have the replacement colors in the order above. starting with vivid green, slowing transitioning to dark green, switching abruptly to bright pink, slowly transitioning to pale pink.
step 9: another excel macro. this one looks at original image broken down into hex codes, then looks at the generated list and replaces each [original] color with the replacement color, that exact number of times.
end result of these macros, following different "rules" of assigning replacement colors to original colors, is this:
which looks different, obviously. but it is the exact replacement colors, and same number of each replacement color, as the original up there.
at maximum efficiency, it took about 20 minutes to complete step 8 and 9. i have a vision of creating a series of these, each time "starting" with the next replacement color, and then making a gif of it. idk how to make gifs though
The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be done with it and the sooner you can stop thinking about it. Go on, up you get, it won't be as bad as you think.
You won't want to do it later either. You might as well just do it now. Even if you don't finish it all, anything you manage to get done now is something you don't have to do later (when you still won't want to do it)

Messaging people for the first time is so hard. What am I supposed to say? Like, "You seem really odd and your blog intrigues me. Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.
Reblog if you're okay with people coming into your DMs with the "you seem really odd and your blog intrigues me, do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters"
I'm not really good at explaining my methods and I don't really know much theory so it's hard to explain but-
The most important stuff is framing, colour contrast, rule of thirds and guiding the viewer's eyeline. Note that I'm not a professional, my work is NOT all that haha so do your own research on these principles!
Nil and Cap are framed in the center, brightest colours to draw attention. The way Cap and the other illagers are posed also kind of make a 'circle' surrounding Nil (especially the ones on the right are kind of diagonal), to make them seem more imposing, and draws attention to their target: Nil.
The pillager patrol is framed almost in the center as well, Nil and Polly on either side, following the rule of thirds here pretty closely. The difference in colour contrast helps seperate the foreground (Nil n Polly) and the mid/background with the patrol, creates distance.
The patrol is 'cornered' by Nil and Polly, but not surrounded. Polyl and Nil aren't posed particularly imposing, but having them much larger and on either side (and obviously considering the context) puts them in visual power.
THIS ONE is a fucking mess. Generally following the rule of thirds here as well, Nil and Wirt are off to the right side and are the brightest in tone, taking attention to themselves first. The OTHER magnet of attention is the Hog on the left breaking through the barricade, and it kinda balances out. The text being where it is pretty messy, the viewer's eye is really taken everywhere here, which hopefully adds to the feeling of chaos rather than actually making it chaotic. But it kinda is, the lava stream in the bg above Nil I should've made darker..
This one is much better. Anyways like-- see how everything is sort of sectioned?? And the piglins weapons' as diagonal lines pointing towards the centered object of interest: the gold. The tonal contrast helping seperate everything? The missing scar on Vidi's brow-GODDAMNIT-
Anyways some more of this:
Note how the 'smear frame' from Grand's Axe frames her and the other one. And the tone differences that bring attention to her.
I think my best framing work is definitely in the Johnny chase:
đŹ 162  đ 1264  â¤ď¸ 7294 ¡ Johnny was slain by polar bear.
Somewhere between Polly and Johnny parting ways and then reuniting in a Raid- John
I think generally it's probably better to look through MY INSPIRATIONS to get an idea of,, how I do my stuff:
đŹ 11  đ 127  â¤ď¸ 1423 ¡ What's your secret or making such an amazing illustrations??? What or who inspires you?
Aw thank you, and thanks for

If you want to actually fix your sleep schedule you need to consistently go to bed half an hour earlier than the night before AND either keep your wake up time the same OR consistently wake up half an hour earlier as well, until you are sleeping at the times you actually want to be asleep at. This is of course, very difficult to do but does actually work.
According to the CDC, in 10 percent of those drownings, the adult will actually watch the child do it, having no idea it is happening. Drowning does not look like drowningâDr. Pia, in an article in the Coast Guardâs On Scene magazine, described the Instinctive Drowning Response like this:
âExcept in rare circumstances, drowning people are physiologically unable to call out for help. The respiratory system was designed for breathing. Speech is the secondary or overlaid function. Breathing must be fulfilled before speech occurs.
Drowning peopleâs mouths alternately sink below and reappear above the surface of the water. The mouths of drowning people are not above the surface of the water long enough for them to exhale, inhale, and call out for help. When the drowning peopleâs mouths are above the surface, they exhale and inhale quickly as their mouths start to sink below the surface of the water.
Drowning people cannot wave for help. Nature instinctively forces them to extend their arms laterally and press down on the waterâs surface. Pressing down on the surface of the water permits drowning people to leverage their bodies so they can lift their mouths out of the water to breathe.
Throughout the Instinctive Drowning Response, drowning people cannot voluntarily control their arm movements. Physiologically, drowning people who are struggling on the surface of the water cannot stop drowning and perform voluntary movements such as waving for help, moving toward a rescuer, or reaching out for a piece of rescue equipment.
From beginning to end of the Instinctive Drowning Response peopleâs bodies remain upright in the water, with no evidence of a supporting kick. Unless rescued by a trained lifeguard, these drowning people can only struggle on the surface of the water from 20 to 60 seconds before submersion occurs.â
This doesnât mean that a person that is yelling for help and thrashing isnât in real troubleâthey are experiencing aquatic distress. Not always present before the Instinctive Drowning Response, aquatic distress doesnât last longâbut unlike true drowning, these victims can still assist in their own rescue. They can grab lifelines, throw rings, etc.
Look for these other signs of drowning when persons are in the water:
Head low in the water, mouth at water level
Head tilted back with mouth open
Eyes glassy and empty, unable to focus
Eyes closed
Hair over forehead or eyes
Not using legsâvertical
Hyperventilating or gasping
Trying to swim in a particular direction but not making headway
Trying to roll over on the back
Appear to be climbing an invisible ladder
So if a crew member falls overboard and everything looks OKâdonât be too sure. Sometimes the most common indication that someone is drowning is that they donât look like theyâre drowning. They may just look like they are treading water and looking up at the deck. One way to be sure? Ask them, âAre you all right?â If they can answer at allâthey probably are. If they return a blank stare, you may have less than 30 seconds to get to them. And parentsâchildren playing in the water make noise. When they get quiet, you get to them and find out why.
Can I just say thank you to OP for putting such a detailed description on this?
Iâve been a lifeguard for 6 years now and of all the saves Iâve done, maybe two or three had people drowning in the stereotypical thrashing style. And even those, like the save I made last weekend, it was exactly like OP describes where the personâs head is going in and out of the water but it isnât long enough to get any air. Mostly you recognize drowning by the look on someoneâs face. If someone looks wide eyed and terrified or confused, chances are theyâre drowning. That look of âoh shitâ is pretty easily recognizable. And even if you canât tell for sure: GO AFTER THEM ANYWAY. Iâve done âsavesâ where a kid was pretending to drown and I mistook it for real drowning, but thatâs preferable to a kid ACTUALLY drowning.
Also please remember that even strong swimmers can drown if they have a medical emergency, get cramps, or get too tired. If your friend knows how to swim but theyâre acting funny get them to land. And even if someone can respond when you ask them if they need help, if they say they do need help? GO HELP THEM.
However . If the victim is a stranger, I canât recommend trying to get them. Lifeguards literally train to escape âattacks,â because people who are drowning can freak the fuck out and grab you and make YOU drown as well. If you do go in after someone, take hold of them from the back and talk to them the whole time. IF YOU ARE GRABBED: duck down into the water as low as you can get. The person is panicking and wonât want to go under water and should release you. Shove up at their hands and push them away from you as you duck under. Donât die trying to save someone else.
Please guys, read and memorize this post. Not all places have lifeguards. Being able to recognize drowning is such an important skill to have and you can save someoneâs life.
In a water park once, I was suddenly grabbed by a child and he dragged me under the water without warning. I was going to get angry with him when I resurfaced because I thought he was being an ass, until I looked at him go back in and out hyperventilating the entire time. I grabbed him under his arms and began trying to drag him out while screaming for the lifeguard.
When the lifeguard got us both out, a woman came running down and accused me of harming him and said he had been completely fine in the water. That there was no reason to drag him out of there. The lifeguard had to explain to her that her son had been drowning, to which her response was to say that she didnât hear him call for help.
If you are on a Windows 11 computer, pause everything you are doing for one minute and:
Open computer settings
Click on Accessibility on the left-hand menu
Scroll down the Accessibility menu and click on the Keyboard Option
Under the "related settings" tab, click "Typing" which should have a description of "spellcheck, autocorrect, text suggestions."
Turn off the AI "correct misspelled words"
and most importantly: turn off Typing Insights.
[ID: a screenshot of the above mentioned Windows 11 settings, showing that Typing Insights is now turned off, with the following description from Microsoft:
"Windows is using artificial intelligence to help you type
To help you save time and type efficiently, Windows can learn to suggest words, autocorrect spelling mistakes, and interpret swiped typing. Take a look at the insights below to see up-to-the-minute stats on how Windows has learned to improve typing for you. These stats are stored only on this device and Microsoft does not collect the typing insights data."
End ID]
"But Mx. November, it says right there Microsoft doesn't collect the typing insights data!"
I mean, yeah, it says that..... for *now.*
It also only specifies that Microsoft themselves don't collect it, and they wouldn't have made this something that I was automatically, secretly opted in for without my knowledge if they didn't have something to be gained by me not knowing it exists!
I only found this because a cat walked on the keyboard and turned on Filter Keys and while trying to figure out why my keyboard was just making chirping noises instead of typing, I happened to click on "typing insights" by accident.
Generative AI, and especially AI that is used to "personalize" and track your activity across the web and on your computer are never going to be in your best interest, it is always going to serve these companies in whatever way will line their pockets the most, and all it takes is updating their terms of service once, and then all of that data they promised they weren't collecting suddenly all belongs to them.

i know things are hella grim in the nsfw/kink art circles especially in the last year --
but I'm hearing there's a NSFW-friendly ko-fi alternative built on atproto that's actively in the works, and being vetted by lawyers right now. as torrent-princess (OP) says, you should be able to swap out payment processors while keeping your account intact. this matters since even if stripe removes support, you'll still have a shop and all of your links intact. (ATproto is an infrastructure that bsky is built on, but is far bigger than bsky with far more opportunities.)
additionally, the Free Speech Coalition is working on a credit union specifically for adult work (including kink art) - here's the link so you can add your interest & support. Since this will be built by sex workers, there'll be far less risk of being debanked for spurious and puritanical reasons.
on a domain TLD level, there's an initiative here for a .furry domain built from the ground up by seasoned furries; it's unclear whether they'll support NSFW, but it's yet another promising turn of events for a group that's been similarly affected by censorship.
there are friends and allies out there helping to build a working parallel infrastructure. keep being vocal, keep supporting these initiatives when it's possible, and keep supporting your nsfw/kink artists. âĽ
