The link attached to the date is not in relation to the piece, but rather the USA holiday that is celebrated today- Juneteenth. Today is the day when two years after emancipation the last enslaved people in Texas were freed. The link provided is a post from a Black creator on here that debunks the mystification around Abraham Lincoln and provides some very good resources for learning the history of Juneteenth. I have their post linked as I am very much not Black.
