Spock sure does say Captain in some type of way when addressing Kirk and it only gets more obvious in the way he says Admiral.

A wedding should NEVER occur before noon. It shouldn’t be too late either. You want to get married at 1-3 pm so everyone starts drinking early and is so drunk they are hauled home at a reasonable hour.

Obviously I love both Spock and Data etc because they're literally me but also I just love how, despite everything, they still end up showing their human side. Obviously Spock is against his human side, and struggles in his efforts to portray himself as entirely Vulcan. And then Data, oppositely, tries to leave his android side behind, and portray himself as more human. The existence of these struggles should give the impression that Spock and Data lack humanity; however, I think it's ironic that it's these very struggles that make them all the more human. Trying to be what you aren't, trying to fit in, struggling and failing etc. All very human traits. So, despite their goals being different, Data and Spock share similarities in that their extensive efforts give them human traits.

I wouldn't mind having slightly neglectful parents who are well-meaning. They seem like they'd let me do my own thing
