OP: "Decarbonized formaldehyde is great. Just wash daikons with decarbonized formaldehyde and they turn white."
"Decarbonized formaldehyde" (č«ē¢³ē²é) is an online phrase used to make fun of people that blindly avoid chemicals. Formaldehyde (H2CO) decarbonized is water (H2O).

met a woman today whose original real actual given-at-birth first name is "Vendetta." ma'am are you aware you are a videogame protagonist and/or a character in a skullduggery pleasant novel. real quick sorry to bother you miss but who exactly were your parents expecting you to avenge in their name
the worst part is I can't dare ask her that last question because then she might say something like "You don't remember, do you?" and pull out a katana and obviously I'm not stupid enough to take that risk

A repressed society creates its own alter ego. In eras of great repression, when the natural urges and desires inherent to being human (not exclusive to sexual desire) are refused exploration in fantasy and play, they do not simply go away. Desires denied take over and blacken and rot. When violence is done to the self, that violence becomes directed outward. The person punishing themselves into conforming develops a lust for revenge against the nonconformist, a bloodthirst towards the disobedient. A culture of self-denial is a culture of death.Ā
yessssss shame your past self for surviving the only way you knew how to at the time ššš
imagine if we said lesbians are privileged because society rewards attraction to women. That's true, isn't it? It's catered to and expected, while attraction to men is looked down upon. Attraction to men can make you be seen as a threat (for men) while attraction to women gets attempts to convert you at worst.
That'd be ridiculous, right?
my ability to be both a sweetie pie and a sick pervert will lead me to great things
there is nothing a corporation hates more than having employees, but a close second is having to provide a good or service in order to make money. these two reasons concisely explain is why the ai bubble formed in the first place.

just saw pictures from mike flanagan carrie
okay serious fucking question, must he de-fang every female character he touches?
mike, it's actually more interesting for audiences that margaret is an abusive religious fundie (and also a victim of marital rape) who tries to literally beat the idea of sin into her daughter, it is actually TIMELY to adapt that correctly at this particular american moment. WHY is he so scared of every piece of source material that has ever been handed to him? i MUST know
you're laughing, mike flanagan wants to do gilmore girls with telekinetic rage and you're laughing
what if carrie was about a young witch searching for a missing cat in the alps
I saw a post on a terf blog before I blocked it from someone being like "Ummm is anybody else really concerned about the rise of antisocial kinks like pissing" and it made me laugh so hard I almost did a little antisocial kink myself
If you like a Long Island Iced Tea, wait until you try the provocatively named Adios, Motherfucker. Itās fun, boozy and blue.
Found a recipe for it that's worded like electrochemistry wrote it
Update: this tastes like if a baha blast could kill you and annihilates any ongoing anxiety attacks
Update update: comparing this to a long island is like comparing a pickup truck to a tank
I hate when trans men use how long theyāve been out/on T to discredit transandrophobia/anti-transmasculinity theory.
āOnce you go on T, once you start ACTUALLY living as man you wonāt care about this stuff.ā
Pre T, early T, and non HRT trans men and mascs are still trans and part of the community. The fact that they experience misogyny to a greater degree doesnāt make it unimportant because that might not be the case later.
Even if we made it super easy for people to come out and get on puberty blockers and HRT as children, TRANSITIONING will always exist. Not everyoneās goal is stealth. There will always be non-passing, out and proud trans men, and trans men in āearly transitionā. There will still be trans men who transition in their 40s, 50s and older who lived their entire lives as women. These are still transmasc experiences, male experiences.
This is all while ignoring the fact that yes, even stealth and passing trans men are still trans. Still experience transphobia, misogyny, and transandrophobia. I know I do. Youāre not a ābetter manā because you donāt (or pretend you donāt).
Iām a trans guy 7 going on 8 years on testosterone. I pass. Iām read as a man in most situations. And I really reject this idea that caring about transandrophobia means Iām āimmatureā or āattached to being afab.ā Iām just being honest about the specific ways power, misogyny, and transphobia intersect in our lives because Iām not insecure about it. I care because Iāve seen how these dynamics persist before, during, and after medical transition.
If our politics only make room for the most comfortable, most assimilated trans men, then theyāre not actually serving the community.

When you see itā¦
āOnce you ACTUALLY start living as a manā
Is a way to, all at once, say;
āTrans men arenāt men until they start testosterone. And once you start testosterone as a trans man, to be a real trans man, you have to try to be stealth.ā
ā¦you canāt un-see the truscum bullshit.
Also, like, not everyone who's stealth WANTS to be stealth. Often, in misogynistic/transphobic work environments, the choice is "be stealth" or "get harassed constantly" or "don't work there." It's just the least shitty of those three options. It's not like we can just immediately train for a completely new career at the drop of a hat when we decide to transition. Because, I remind the reader, large numbers of us transition as adults; contrary to popular belief, we are not all 15.
"women and nonbinary people's spaces exist for us to have safe spaces away from men"
as a nonbinary person, i feel safer around transgender men than cisgender women who way too often
have a very surface level understanding of gendered marginalisation thinking it's only tied to womanhood
end up treating nonbinary people in those spaces as either women or invaders
have shown time and time again that the name is merely a lip service and these spaces are almost always "cisgender women and afab nonbinary people i think are women"
unless it's actually a space explicitly for everyone who is oppressed by the patriarchy, i'm not sharing a gendered safer space with cisgender women. if your understanding of the patriarchy completely ignores the way transgender men are marginalised, i can't trust you to understand my experience as a nonbinary person beyond your lens of perceived womanhood.
if you want a space to be safe for nonbinary people, one of the top ways to completely and utterly fail is to binarize that space by excluding one of the binary genders.
it immediately tells nonbinary people that:
you don't really understand "nonbinary" means as you aren't aware that nonbinary people can be men, and in fact many nonbinary women are also men
you think that nonbinary people are inherently closer to women than to men, and more specifically, you think that the lived experiences and perspectives and feelings of nonbinary people as a group are close enough the experiences/perspectives/feelings of cis women
that space will probably be anywhere from uncomfortable to actively hostile and unsafe to any nonbinary person who either insists on their manhood or is perceived by others as too close to being a man
sometimes, i'd rather people just be openly exorsexist rather than doing this infuriating bullshit where they want to seem nonbinary-inclusive, but clearly think the extent of nonbinary allyship is just using they/them pronouns for someone.
to be real dramatic about it, its actively unsafe for nonbinary people to not have any spaces of our own that are actually dedicated to nonbinary experience, especially with exorsexism. its unhealthy for us to constantly be shoved off into spaces dominated by cis and/or binary women, to have to be subjected to exorsexism by the people who almost always make up the majority of the space, to be constantly reminded that your "inclusion" is second-class. it was not healthy for me as a young multigender person to be in such spaces specifically because this "women and nonbinary people, but no men!" attitude led me to repress my own manhood deeply, for years. because i was seeing so many people talk about how if you are even 1% man, you can't be a lesbian or be in really any woman-oriented spaces and if you want to be, its you being a privileged male predator. which is not only exorsexism, its also something which alienates me as a woman from other women, as cisfeminists never relate to me as a fellow woman when they see me as a nonbinary person who is also sometimes a man.
cis & binary women do not realize that exorsexism isn't just being rude, its a weapon, and you can wield it. don't invite nonbinary people into a space if you aren't actually committed to the work of making that space good for nonbinary people. we aren't just liberal feminist collectibles!

every time you make art of any kind, a stat that is not visible to the player goes up. also, this is the most important stat in the game
does singing in the shower count as art
does a strong as fuck ice mummy have ice powers
does writing fanfiction count as art
don't make me say the mummy thing again
I feel like some people on tumblr genuinely cannot fathom the idea of relating to transmascs/admitting transmascs were right about something.
Every time I come on here, I'll see another 'transfeminist' with hundreds or thousands of notes, talking about a phenomenon that is supposedly unique to 'tma' people, and then I'll squint at it and its literally something transmascs have also been talking about on this site for over a year*.
The entire concept of malgendering (only being gendered one way when it can be used against you)
Invisibility messing with statistics
Being in cis men's spaces often being more dangerous than cis women's spaces as a visibly trans person
Permanent health issues because of gendered expectations growing up even if thats not the gender you identify with
*Im not necessarily saying transmascs talked about it first because no one knows who 'did it first' and thats a dumb way to think about it. I mean stuff trfs have been making fun of transmascs for talking about but suddenly understanding when the same logic is applied to transfem issues.
