But it was the words from the blue-haired scary guy that really caught the snake’s attention. It made him go rigid, and his eyes go cold.

Grimmjow let a predatory smirk creep upon his face, his blue eyes glinting with excitement. He was going to push this kid as far as he could. After all, Grimmjow loves a good fight when he can get one. 

It was the usual cool yet sunny early Saturday afternoon, wherein the townspeople have the option to stay home for the weekend, or to go out to live life with what the city has to offer for them. Otoya had just finished his lunch alone and cleaned up after himself, quickly slipping into the bathroom to prepare to head out for the day. He didn’t really have anything planned that day, maybe just take an afternoon walk around the city.

The redhead stepped out of his apartment, closing and locking the door behind him, only to notice that he was already stepping on a pile of envelopes. He gasped, suddenly taking a step away, then picked everything up. Quickly reading through everything, he found his name and the names of those who lived in the same apartment as his. 

Though, one name stood out. He tried fishing through his memory as the name sounded familiar, but nonetheless, he was on his way to the address that was written on it without clearly remembering who’s name that was. Making a few quick stops beforehand, he finally arrived and made his way into the Sunflower Apartment building, the envelope from earlier in hand, as well as a small box that contained a slice of cake as a friendly gift.

That's why, when there was a knock at his apartment door, Grimmjow was instantly irritated. First, there is no one he knows that would want to visit him. Second it could be that loud skinny guy that his roommate is always hanging out with (Who Grimmjow will toss out the damn window one day). Third, whoever the hell it was, they had interrupted Grimmjow's sleep. The very sleep he needed after his long shift at the veterinary hospital. At first he was going to just ignore it, but then the knocking kept going so, the blue haired male was forced to drag himself out of bed in nothing but his baggy sweat pants and stomp over to the front door to pull it open.

"You woke me up for this shit?" He grumbled, his voice lower than usual because of sleep. Of course he knew the other was just trying to be nice and all, but dammit, a man needs his sleep. But as azure eyes looked at the cake that was offered another need arose. So in the end, Grimmjow snatched the mail and the cake from the kid's hand with a grunt and turned around to stalk back into his apartment. When he didn't sense the other following, he turned around and glared pointedly.
