The lesson that you need to learn is this: fall in love with yourself. You gotta love yourself really really hard. How do you treat someone you’re in love with? You speak to them kindly, make sure they’re well fed, make sure they’re well-rested, give them patience and love when they’re down. Ends up happening is you learn to love yourself so much that it’s like second nature. And the next time you meet a special person, you know what it feels like to love you. You know what love looks like, you know what it feels like and you know what you’re worthy of. Whatever stage of life you’re in, one constant that’s always gonna be with you is you. Fall in love with yourself. ♡
