I once again have not put any substantial work into any WIPs. I mean, that's not entirely true. I have finished my first kinktober prompt. But I don't think I wanna share from that. Instead, I'll be sharing from a headcanon list I started writing based on an idea that @intangible-effigies gave me/started in the Breaker Box Discord Server. The idea is basically "We know Volt sleeps around the house, and Eddie probably does to, or at least did before Volt came around. Let's rank all the dateables in a tier list from They Never Slept Together to FWB (with several steps in-between, and for Volt and Eddie both together and separately)." I haven't posted this headcanon list yet because I've only written out all 102 dateables on Eddie's list, but I want to get to Volt eventually.
For now, have my take on Eddie and Jerry's FWB status, that is my favorite one I wrote, and just so happened to be seven sentences: π

Eddie and Jerry - FWB
Unlike the Breaker Box, which is often loud and crowded, Jerry's collection is quiet and secluded. Sure, it may be a little tight in places, but the appeal of Jerry overall is that other objects avoid him, so if Eddie is with him, they'll leave him alone too and he can just take a break.
Well, there's that appeal, and also the fact that Jerry is one of the few objects who has never looked at Eddie differently for being worn down or broken (or even the lesser half of Volt). In fact, Jerry seems much more fascinated and affectionate with Eddie because he's had such a lived experience.
There's an underlying kindness to the way Jerry fucks Eddie, like he's gentle with him not because he thinks he's fragile, but because he knows it's what Eddie needs. It's that kindness that keeps Eddie coming back again and again, no matter how many odd looks he gets from the other residents of the house.
And it's that kindess that sometimes holds him back from going, when the days have been so hard on him that he thinks he might not deserve it againβwhen he can't allow himself to have it again, or he'll shatter.
I had found this on twt and was going around to friends jokingly going "Haha Me with Jerry! Except in the whole of date everything only two objects refer to him positively and everyone else who mentions him is annoyed by/dislikes him! Haha-"
But then as I was doing that I started to actually think about it and like... Something about saying that outloud makes me feel uneasy about his writing/treatment

Fun fact: Red tinted lenses are often prescribed to people who suffer from migraines. This is because the red lenses make visual stimuli less... well... stimulating.
Chance has red tinted glasses. My headcanon is that he suffers from chronic migraines. It was one of the first things I clocked when I saw his design for the first time - like I saw the glasses and I was like, "Aww... poor thing..." How do I know this? Migraines run in my family.
I think Chance's prodrome symptoms are constipation and insomnia, and his most prominent aura symptom is visual changes - like seeing flashes of light. When Chance is having a migraine attack, he's more sensitive to lights, sounds, and smells (on top of sensitivities from autism), and he's prone to nausea and vomiting. Usually when Chance is in the throes of an attack, Jerry is there to make sure he's comfortable and well taken care of.
Not so Fun Fact: Women are way more likely to develop migraines than men, so Chance got really unlucky with the genetic lottery. Can't get a nat 20 on everything, I suppose...

Anyway- A rare pair I've had after it randomly happening in rp one day is Amir X Jerry because everything here is about Jerry. Amir absolutely praising and adoring Jerry for every little thing he is and uplifting him to be his very best self, and Jerry simply combusting over the praise~
Buuut what's more fun about them is their intimate life~ Jerry in my eyes would be lowky an exhibitionist, enjoying sex in risky spots, or allowing people to watch- And Amir is DEFINITELY into voyeurism on some level. Voyeur Amir x Exhibitionist Jerry= Sooooo much fun~

I hate that I have such a visceral reaction of hatred to some ships- Cuz sometimes I'll just be scrolling through the blog of someone I think is super cool and sweet and then I see them together, and my mood is ruined for the next hour- And I'll feel like I need to avoid them now or I risk putting myself in a bad mood again when that person really is cool and I wanna vibe with them
And sometimes I don't even have a good reason or a reason at all for hating ships! I just... HATE
