Your #1 80s Popples fan bringing you some 80s Popples Content!

If I am using capital letters and more polished spelling and even apotrophes, you know I am typing a serious post. So, I’ll get right to it (see? apostrophes!). This blog will most likely only stay up as an archive, so people can still see the content uploaded here, and reblog it if they want to. However, when I created this blog I was in the height of a Popples craze caused by me and my boyfriend watching a lot of episodes in a row over streaming services. It is a series that is dear to me, and we still only watch it as a special occasion, because it feels like such a dear little show.

And well, the thing is, I have ADHD. As such, I often get very quickly and intensely into certain subjects and interests, feeling them very intensely, but having my energy to create and/or consume content related to them burn out rather suddenly. And after reading this, you probably guess where this is going. I just don’t feel like putting energy in scouring 80′s Popples content to make gifs and post facts and little cool tidbits of info like I wanted to when this blog started because... well, other things take up my busy mind. I still love Popples, and hold my own Popples tag back on my personal blog, and anyone who knows me well knows to tag me in Popples and say that I am like a human popple. But, they have taken more of a backseat to other interests and hyperfixations that tug on my mind. Coupled with the fact I am finishing college, doing commissions, and am focusing more on producing art, I have very little time to watch cartoons, even ones that are newer or more popular, let alone make gifs and comment on them.

So yeah, this blog most likely won’t be updated for a while. However, if anyone is interested in taking ownership of this blog and being added to it, I’ll definitely add them to it, and perhaps under new direction this blog can take off again.
