there are references for strong women that aren’t just 80s body builders (which were hyped on steroids)

there’s a difference between appreciating a character and relating to the character. like having a favorite batman villain, they’re all murderers, but which one is the most engaging? which one is the most interesting to see engage with the protagonist?

y’all jump slade and sabertooth but treat the joker like jesus.

and the same argument can be applied to joker fans (even tho they lowk a lil embarrassing) if you find a character interesting that is ENOUGH to say that you like them, because they are FICTIONAL. and you should like characters as you like FICTION. and it makes me genuinely. concerned with how some of y’all engage with art.

sabertooth is an interesting and engaging character,

with flaws that outweigh everything else, and i really love storylines with him! shoot me! hes a really engaging villain and is genuinely terrifying!! same with slade, michal bell, negan! you see it everywhere in fiction and the approach of liking a fictional character under the same criteria as liking a boyfriend is NOT NORMAL!
