Choeaedol is an app used on voting for your idol. Just last voting event, which was done/finished, Soribada Award for Best Group and Popularity awards were done on the app. Meaning, Soribada Awards used a voting app for fans to vote for their idol. BTS won Popularity award because of the hardwork and teamwork that ARMY had done.

how voting on the app works:

of course fans can’t vote without working hard. so, choeaedol’s way of voting is like any other app (like IdolChamp)

on the app, we collect hearts. there are many ways to collect them. but first, there 2 different hearts.

Daily hearts - daily hearts that you collected a day will reset (11:30PM KST) if not used (always use them so it won’t be wasted)

Ever hearts - ever hearts will not reset. you can save them until you want to use them.

Hearts serve as tickets on the app. Collect and vote as many as you can because the amount of hearts voted is what the app is about.

Why am I asking to download it when it’s not yet voting for Soribada Awards?

obviously, we need to save hearts before the official voting starts.

start early so we can just drop hearts we’ve collected these months for next year’s awarding.

Is it official / important?

Yes, Soribada Awards is a music award show in Korea.

K-Idols went there to perform and receive awards
